Yeah, I presume most of us at least know our way around the Nords and know where the trouble spots are. If you don't, well start learning now!

Nords is actually not that difficult a track if you don't know it that well. Sure to be quick on it you need to know it really well but that's true of any track. There are only a few spots where good knowledge is needed, most other corners you can get away with it if you drive with a bit in reserve.

Agreed. There's many sections of it I have memorized but there are also sections I've never memorized because they're pretty self explanatory and you can just kinda see what's coming. Since we're doing the track day there in a few weeks it will be good practice for anybody who needs it.

Nope! Not me
You had time to do so since GT4 young man

;)

Either way, there's also a good opportunity to learn it this weekend in a variety of cars with the track-day.

Good morning! Not a bad place to have a Bloody Mary (though it is a bit chilly).
A lot of beers yesterday? :dopey:
Actually someone advised me of the ideal hangover cure; asparagus! Dunno if you'll find them at the track there though haha.

I hope that the sad face is only relating to missing the event and not that the family event was a sad one...

Only relating to missing the event! Well, I am not fond of company anyway... But that is a different sorry. Sorry, should have been clear!

hey guys how can I be part of the next race? I am very interested in, all I have to do is join by typing the password? Are they some empty slots so I can join for the next race?

thank you.

Sure! Password and a gentlemanly attitude is all you need (and perhaps a few adult beverages), we usually have plenty of slots available so we should be able to get you in with no problem. The next event is the Ginetta at Barcelona Moto (I've been away from home the last few days and haven't had a chance to update the OP). Link to download the Ginetta is in the first post. Look forward to racing with you!

I'll definitely be at the next one :) Although I'm going to need some serious practice around Barcelona

I don't recall ever racing it before AC so I'm still kinda learning it but I like it more and more every lap. Both versions are good but I think the Moto layout is more racey with slower cars, keeps the momentum up. Hopefully @Wiz and @Brindle will pull a Mercedes on the first lap and give the rest of us a chance to win!

We'll be visiting France for the next round. :sly: Still sorting out the details though.

Alright sir! I am downloading the content now and going to practice for the race! See you next sunday!

PS: I am from France so I am sorry if sometimes I don't write correctly :odd: .

Cheers.

So, did anyone show up for the track day?

Here's what I was doing. I think it was a valid excuse to miss a club race. :)

Couple of the simulators they had setup, the first one was a motion sim that rocked and bounced a bit which was cool.
