Wow nice pictures!

Thanks. It was fun, but exhausting! Going up in the Pagoda was really awesome, such an incredible view. I probably walked 5+ miles both days, my legs were useless on Sunday. Friday was a beautiful day but Saturday (race day) was 45° (7°c) and cloudy with a 20+mph wind so it was rather unpleasant. I'll be back this weekend for two days of qualifying, the following Friday for Carb Day, and then the 500 two days later. Going to be an exhausting/expensive month!

Here's what it looked like from the Pagoda suite.

And here's a panorama from high in oval turn 1.

I'm hoping to have enough energy/time tonight to at least get a baseline ready for the GT4's.

8-9hrs of physical work in an auto-shop when the weather is warm & stuffy does a number on the body :scared: (Haven't played all week)

I managed to squeeze in a few practice laps Monday night and barely touched the high :53's with the default setup.

Just tried out the combo tonight for a little bit and I am seriously off the pace. Like, so far off it had me checking the version number of the car as I thought I must have been on an old version or something as I felt like my laps were actually pretty decent, maybe a little slow as I learn some corners but not 3 whole seconds slow.. Anyway I'll keep battling.

Same here, just did my first practice lap and i managed 1:58...
Ah well let's hope for the best.

Fun combo, has a nice rhythm to it, thanks for the good racing guys. Top 3 top quick for me in second race. First race was a write off due to a spin on the first lap.

Enjoyed that last night. First competitive race in VR and it was hot! Couple of screens attached to your head in a set of goggles twinned with competitive racing result in a hot head! Had good pace and enjoyed the battles I had but a few daft mistakes when pushing too hard cost me.

Sorry for the delay in updating things, between the 500 and packing for my move this weekend I've been going a mile a minute the last couple weeks. New info and results have been added to the OP, I haven't had any time to test anything so we'll take the M235i to the Nords since I already know it's a good combo.

Yeah, it wasn't getting used enough to justify the extra cost on the electricity bill. I have all the track settings in the OP though so you can practice under the correct conditions. 👍
