Since this was brought up in the current page, a Japanese player asked a HRC eMS rep about whether Honda's current GT500 cars are coming to the game. The rep said:

Note that this likely would be in package deal with Toyota's and Nissan's current GT500 cars.

The potential liveries that may likely be used, if ever this comes into fruition, could be the Red Bull MOTUL MUGEN for the NSX (likely NSX-GT Type S from 2022) and ARTA for the Civic Type R-GT.

I'd like a collection of Gordon Murray's projects. This year Gordon Murray is the featured "brand" at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. I also think his portfolio is diverse enough that a Gordon Murray centered update would suit the game well. I'd like to see the T.50 road car the most. The T.50s Niki Lauda could fill the role of track car, the Light Car Company Rocket could make a return to the series, and the Ox would be a fantastic and unique off-roader with an interesting story. The icing on the cake would be the Brabham BT46 fan car. Unfortunately, getting the license for some of these would likely be incredibly difficult. I just think it'd be nice to have an accurate representation of a T.50 in games. In Forza and The Crew it's not even a manual.

We have the Goodwood circuit, bringing back the time trial stage would be awesome.

And in other wish news… I remember the days mods would swap the car bodies and chassis. This would be fun if PD made it happen. ;) From Randy Pobst post while he attended the $2000 Challenge from Grassroots Motorsports.

No secret that I’ve been wishing and wanting an FF four door sport sedan in GT7. I had to look way back in GT5 to find one in the Honda Civic Type R ‘08!
Kaz adding more lift-gate vehicles due how the car industry changed from sedans to SUVs, there’s no real sign of what FF sport sedan would added to the game. Genesis G70 is the most recent four door sedan(4WD) in the GT series. Genesis were once Gran Turismo partners and parent company Hyundai would have seemed like a shoe in to have an i30/Elantra N as a new addition to GT7.
From current partners Toyota and Mazda, only Mazda have a sport sedan, but that’s 4WD as well.

So, from my eyes, it looks like slim pickings from modern FF sport sedans that might be on PD’s radar:

  • Honda Civic Type R ‘08
  • Hyundai i30/Elantra N ‘24
  • Hyundai Elantra Sport ‘17

Off the wall cars would be the return of the Dodge Neon SRT-4 and a not even going to happen Chevy Cobalt SS sedan manual.
An Accord 2.0T is pretty darn quick, but a sport sedan it ain’t.

Forza Motorsport has Fujimi Kaido ( 10.24 miles (16.5km) of serpentine Japanese mountain roads with a 2,711-ft (826m) summit and 144 extreme turns.), I wonder if there could be a GT7 crossover with Ghost of Yōtei, and have a track up and around Mount Yōtei?View attachment 1447311

I'd love to see what Polyphony Digital's vision of a long, winding Japanese mountain road circuit would look like. I think games need more super long winding circuits outside of just the Nordschlife. Stuff like the mentioned Fujimi Kaido or Circuito de la Sierra from GT6. Hell bring back Complex String for the memes, or if PD were to really get spicy, take all the Special Stage route Tracks(except maybe X since it already is in the game) and combine them into one super long city circuit. Maybe even combine the Seaside and Gardens layouts of Dragon Trail into one long course.

We need to include Fiat cars. The Fiat Punto Gt, Fiat Barchetta, Fiat Coupè Turbo plus, Fiat Uno turbo I.E Mk2, Fiat 500 Sporting and 600 Sporting are missing. The Renault Clio Williams 91, Renault 5 Gt Turbo, Peugeot 106 rally, Peugeot 206, Alfa Romeo 147, Alfa Romeo 33, Alfa Romeo 75. And I could go on, these are the cars that are missing in this title to have fun and do competitive events, this game is just full of Japanese cars, users are tired of them.... I hope in the next updates to see at least some Fiat cars, they are cars that have made history.

Highly unrealistic and perhaps unpopular but I'm waiting for a modern racing game to officially add a full size Land Cruiser a.k.a "Station Wagon" models.
I'm biased but I'm mainly thinking about a 1998-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser (J100), preferably one with a 1FZ if Polyphony could somehow find one in Japan. If they're okay with adding crossovers and old vans, why not one of the most iconic SUV nameplates period? Besides, while not quite the levels of the 1UZ or 2JZ, the 1FZ on the J100 is still somewhat moddable in real life.

On a more realistic level, i would like to see more Australian cars in the game. Perhaps the return of few vehicles from GT4 such as:
FPV F6 Typhoon '04
Holden Monaro CV8 '04

and new-to-series entries like:
Chrysler Valiant VH
Ford Falcon XA
Ford Falcon FG
Holden Monaro HQ
Holden Commodore VF

Just to name a few, I'm not Australian so i barely know anything about their cars but some look interesting to me. I'm fairly sure people could come up with more interesting examples to add.

I’ve been wishing for the wrong stuff. Not just because these are cars I need, but it’s not what PD are giving. Might as well give up on the FF sedan stuff.

Sure, but this thread isn't for that:
Please keep your posts to a reasonable length; think about things you'd really want, if someone was holding you at knifepoint for a quick answer.
Someone's got you at knifepoint for a quick answer of cars/tracks you really want in GT7/8/future and you reel off a list of 40 cars, exclusively made up of cars from previous games but not in GT7 yet, one of which is a livery variant of a car we already have?

That's... really what you'd go for?

If not, wrong thread.
