Lost all engine sound during a race on karts in career mode.
Also got a lap time disqualified for hitting an advertising board that had been knocked on the track a previous lap.

Just to follow up on my earlier post about the lag in control inputs. I went back and loaded the previous firmware on my wheel again and confirmed that the issue was the fact that I had plugged into a USB 3.0 port on the PC. I have had no issues since changing to the USB 2.0 port

Also lost engine sound during a touring car race (it was race #2 of the weekend). Regained it after restarting the race.

The bug happened again last night, so it's happened four times for me quite consistently. But it's only when someone else posts a valid lap time and I don't. If no-one posts a valid lap time (ie during a 10 minute qualifying session for the Nordschliefe) the session doesn't crash.

Thanks, but unfortunately me and a mate of mine cant reproduce it, as of now. Will test further.

Hitting invisible objects or cars in the Clio Cup, resulting in a rather large accident, this has happened at Snetterton, Silverstone and Oulton Park :(

Very odd indeed!

Return to garage, and restart the session Messes things up, first time no FFB, second time no grip, wheels just span when touching the throttle.

Sessions were 100 percent duration, no aids, T300RS

Keep getting penalties throughout races even though I have penalties turned off.

It's incredibly frustrating and ruining what is otherwise a fantastic game.

- AI brake lights showing through my dash.
- After catching the curb and spinning about 180 degrees in the track, sometimes I get struck by the AI and disqualified before I have time to react.
 
-randomly doesn't save progress after a session when u exit. Have had to re-do qualifying more than once!

-if you pit during a session (practice or qualy) and they change your tyres "pit stop" style rather than exiting to garage, When you rejoin you slide all over the place and make all your tyres go red. Also my lap times are always 2-3 seconds slower.

All on career mode - PS4
 
Practice at Monza in the TD Road Championship (think that is the name of the event, not certain though). Drinving Ford Focus. Pit in to change tyres. When leave pit box, it autodrives straight through my pit crew.

Also, the 'twitter' type feed after every race, only seems to recognise up to three wins in a row. Im currently on about 9 in a row, and all i ever see is 'wow, three back to back!' type posts. Think the same is true for emails from team as well. Certainly had a 'we were so close to winning, lets improve for next year' email from team primary after winning the kart championship
 
4) when you start a race sometime there is no audio from the car and you have to restart it
5) in snetterton with clio cup car if you enter the pit during pratices the car crashes into the pit wall automatically with heavy damage
 
Coming to the end of qualifying, 1st race of the season, Clio Cup. End of the home straight my car goes flying up into the air and starts rolling over and over until I quit back to the pit. Then on exiting the pit I get a DQ for going the wrong way. I'm sure that's not supposed to happen, but I earned the Half Racer, Half Demon trophy in a Clio because of it. :lol:
 
After watching a replay through various views, the normal driving views have gone. When racing I can only play in the replay views..no helmet cam :(
 
Got disconnected after a qualifying session on multiplayer. now there is no sound, no music, in lobby. Now after the coundown timer, nothing happens. It just says "waiting to join".

What exactly were the console QA testers actually testing?

The one problem I've got is every now and again when i shift up it will go into first and lock the wheels causing a spin and/or blow up the engine :banghead: any ideas ?


Ps: I'm on PS4 using the controller

I had no engine sound in the Clio Cup in free practice came back on when I restarted the session.
 
The graphics on my circuits look PS3-like on my screen (PS4, 720P TV). Has anybody had the same issue? If so, is there a solution?
 
Anyone noticed theres some audio fx missing like no tyre squeel from some cars when cornering and also no impact sound when a AI car hits you?
 
Encountered two bugs so far;

- Audio issues while racing. Car's engine sound is almost muted, making you only hear the AI oppenents around you. Restarting the game seems to fix it.
- The start of the race 'freezes' entirely when restarting. Fix - restart it again.

How come when i do a valid lap on a community event it doesnt record on the leaderboard? It says i dont have a time recorded....

Takes some time to appear sometimes. Also switching to another event and back helps sometimes.

Did you set a valid time in that qualifying session? Do you remember what car/track?

Strange one, never heard of that, so far. Did you try to reassign the upshift button and see if that helps?
 
Well I encountered (probably am still encountering) a horrid case of my PS4 switching off when the game boots up, if I've just reconnected to the server. I know it's the game because every other game I've booted up under the same circumstances just crashes and returns to the home screen.
 
6) car crashes into nothing on the straights (invisible walls)

my god... the most buggy game ever.. really too much right now. 3 races and are more the problems that the things working..
 
Track : Hockenheim
Career mode GT3 German championship round 2 race 2 .
Car : RUF GT3
Bug : no sound whatsoever when race starts .
Platform : PS4
I had to quit then restart the race and all was great again .
 
Track California highway full
Free session.
Engine not starting no power.
PS4 dual shock.
 
Willow Springs Horse Mile, Lykan, Free Practice.

Car literally drives through 4 fences when coming out of pit-box.

GT4 series in career, various tracks, various cars

Car won't leave the pit-box and you need to press the options button and 'return to pit-box' to fix the issue.
