A lot of these bugs are known and have been reported and are being worked on. So we did our part, for the most part. In terms of wheel issues, we don't have access to console builds, otherwise that stuff would have been found.

In the perfect world, pCARS would be in the "oven" for a few more month, but SMS has already stretched their budget far enough that another delay would have probably been a very costly one.

I can just about accept that.

So to avoid that costly delay they release an unfinished game ?...because that is the impression I get. I keep reading about bugs !!!....could become costly.

Like I said, perfect world it would still be worked on, but here's how it works. If you don't release the game, you don't get paid. If you don't get paid, you don't have money to fix the bugs. Anyway, I'm just going to avoid this discussion, there's a different thread for complaints. We should just report bugs here.

It's exactly that @jules283

They released a BETA and though physics and gameplay are liked a lot it doesn't justify the horendeous state this game is being released in.

It will be patch after patch the comming months. Maybe better wait until they release the complete édition with all dlc and patches included.

It seems a kind of GT6 release all over again. :banghead:

Not sure if it's a bug but....

PS4, now in career in the Clios and after a few dry/wet races i must say the track dries up far too quickly after it stops raining, one lap it's soaked and then the next lap it's bone dry...........Needs addressing as it's not very realistic for a sim.

How many laps are you using? The longer the race the more "realistic" it will be. So if you only have a 2-3 lap race, it will try to squeeze in the weather settings into those few laps. If you have 10-20 laps, it should be much more gradual.

Ahh ok i didn't realise that! Lol Like i said not sure if it was a bug.... Running 4/5 lappers in the Clio Cup in career....Time to turn up the amount of laps me thinks! ;)

Clio gear always shows N in the replay, Rest of the dash works tho.

Not read all posts in this thread so may have already been mentioned, but a couple of things from Xbox One version today

- Free Play, LMP @ Dubai, no sound at all, quit and restart and was back to normal.
- Trying to connect to online session, gave up with waiting and tried to cancel, just hung with the spinning wheel, had to quit to the dashboard and quit the game totally from there.

Jeez, chill out, it's still a great addition to anyone's SimRace collection. I love Assetto Corsa, prefer it for many reasons but still love this game so far, it's got huge potential, give them a chance ffs.

No, no helmet cam, he was using hood view for the most part, possibly bumper view at times. Problem seems to have been solved after setting the res to 1920x1080

@RacerPaul
I haven't saw the xbox version but in the PC version there are options for the graphics settings such as resolution and detail levels. This is where the changed was made that seemed to solve the issue for him
It seems a lot of problems could be solved by simply running through the menu options first, rather than just diving in and expecting everything to work from the off. Common sense really.

Read through the huge list of bugs mentioned within this thread...are they a reason to be chilled !!!
Its not unreasonable to expect a game to work on release...is it ?
Yes, there will be occasional bugs but the DS4 button assignment problem has prevented me from playing a game I just paid 45 bucks for after waiting 6 months !

I think i find a problem :
If you set driving assists to real and then go to an old car like the Ford Escort MK1, TCS and ABS or on. You can see this in the setup menu in your garage and you can feel it when you drive.

Personally I've only encountered a few minor ones, I run it on PC and feel more than happy. Like all things, they need time and a little patience from all concerned. I have run Assetto Corsa for many months, it's not without its faults but I still love it, again, patience is required. There's always GT6 to go back to.

Get a wheel.

ps4-This may have been mentioned on another thread but when I choose a Livery/colour of car in the garage and press x or not and leave to play a race or practice it seem to chose a random livery again. I have tried both ways with exiting without pressing x etc

EDIT: My human error-This does work and saves the livery if you just leave the car when done :)

Also the Hud when I edit it during a race and bring the map to the bottom which I prefer the next race it has popped up the top again-I might be missing something on this one- both things not major or bother me to much as I know it is early days and things get sorted.

Regarding shifting forwards-It wasn't a car shunting from behind was it? with out noise. As I have had that a few times but quickly looked in rear camera view and one was to the side and could have caught the corner of the rear-just a thought. Was anything near you on replay etc

Been having crashes of both the game and my PS4 every half an hour or so when trying to participate in LMP2 Endurance events. Hopefully an update will sort it out. Great fun so far.

QRW at Bathurst GT class 29 AI (same class) I finished 29th but was classified in 28th.

Also, when trying to slo mo replays forward and backward, replays were jumping all over the place.

Yeah replays are bit of mess in this regards (referring to trackside camera). Particularly at Bathurst, the cars glitch and jump all over the place. A fair amount of work needs to put into this but I guess is far from priority. Shame really because some camera angles can look great until the car suddenly jumps or lurches forward. The AI cars are worse at times

Not a glitch or bug but the AI lines at Donington are bad at Old Hairpin and McLeans, they loose so much momentum by no using the full with of the track which is most noticeable exiting the Old Hairpin and through Schwantz Curve

Known issue there. They said it will be looked at eventually, but may not be top priority for a while

Thankfully in all the replays I have watched at different tracks the gltches only show on a minority of the cams, most of the camera replay footage is just fine.
Nevertheless, I would like it fixed, please SMS  because I sure do love my replays.

joined a MP lobby, game went to loading screen (Donington GP), nothing happened, had to reboot game as there's no option to quit at that point.

apart from that, the only bug I've encountered in the past 3 hours is Stig audio drop outs, so that's not too bad.

It worked very well before. Then recently they made some drastic camera changes to improve the in-cockpit smoothness of the camera, but that seemingly broke the replay cameras. I'm sure they are going to look at it shortly. It all looks really good when these bugs are eradicated:)

I tried Azure circuit on Alpine car, 20 opponents on xbox. The game just goes very slow, has massive frame rate drops and screen tearing. Anyone else experiencing this? It is unplayable.

Wow, that sounds very promising, it would be great if they can sort it out. Thanks for letting me know.

Not gonna go through the whole thread so apologies if this has already been posted... this is more an error than a bug.

On PS4 version we've been running some online races tonight and noticed that if you set a car class when starting the lobby you can't change it once you're in the lobby. It means restarting the whole lobby which is frustrating.

Also no passworded lobbies on consoles? That's annoying too as it would be helpful to just allow people to join when they want rather than have to invite them.

A bug I have had is with my T300... when I join someone else's lobby my wheel calibration changes and pulls left slightly but the car drives straight. Have to unplug and plug back into fix it which isn't helpful at the starting lights.

Clio Cup career mode round one qualifying at Donington. Just coming out of the first bend the car behind taps me and I flip an uncountable amount of times straight up in the air, I don't know about 50-100 feet directly up in the air. I couldn't continue qualy after that as the session crashed
