I seeing that pretty much Japanese people do with their itasha, if he put idea from there then I wouldn't surprise not that I complain too I like he color combination.

So I'm not too fond of this weeks theme. Let's just say I'd rather stay clear altogether but I have been out since I won following the mess of my week of choice and thought I'd get back on the horse.

I wasn't too sure what to go with so I took that Castrol M4 and started remove lines. I spent a good few hours adding and removing decals, stripes, trying to change the colour of the stripes that were in already but nothing really stood out. So I've settled for this. The paint is actually Big Flake Orange but it's very hard to identify that with these pictures.

I seeing your work is pretty fine, well even on my first work on Ita your is much better. There's no such particular general restriction on itasha making you can throw anything what you want (nah except the unique restriction on here) Itasha itself not about stand out but all about harmony in messy.

Talk about timing and finally an itasha themed contest. Was making this not long ago and when I saw the theme is about itasha, I decided to continue this livery and bam. Didn't go too much to it compared to my other itasha cars I've made before.

As for the anime characters seen on the Evo Gr.3, they're in the anime called Minami-ke which well if you're a slice of life anime fan, then I definitely recommend this. It's about as slice of life as it can get.

Edit: To conform to the rules of the theme, I changed the number plate to Basic Number plate 2 and giving it number 4 (to show how many seasons Minami-ke had) and did a slight adjustment to the two decals that is close to the number plate.

Ah Minami Kei, I want watch the series but always forget.

Anyway can you adjust your numberplate to Basic Numberplate 01 or 02 (Daily race or FIA race) than other basic numberplate?

As put on Unique restrictions.
- The car must use real numberplate (i.e SGT, Blancpain, or PWC) or Basic Numberplate 01 & 02.

Exactly what I had to do as I had no idea what to do as a base... had to look at many itasha cars before I could even get to what I wanted to do. I think my best itasha car is my Aventador I use for wangan racing. (below)

Personally I couldn't care less. You want to up the competition by making your entry better in your eyes, then go for it.

Yeah I went ahead and changed it anyway. The complaints were at total car changes etc, this is ever so slightly cosmetic so people can complain as they please!

One change is allowed so I don't see the problem ;)
 
My 1st effort at an Itasha livery, inspired by the great Nier Automata game, hope it fits the rules.
 
Not every race car has centerlock wheels, though, so to say one shouldn't have lugged wheels, would be incorrect as well.
 
Haha 4 is fine! Not all race cars indeed, but, the gt500 spec do and that's killing me inside. It's not a go at the creator and you can create whatever you please. So please let's not go down another crappy road in here before someone else comes along and gets butthurt haha.

Don't have enough time to do another anime livery and this one already satisfies me. So I think I'm just going to fart it out and be done with it. Some touch-ups and a scapes session later:

This livery is based on the character Cirno from the Touhou series of top-down arcade-ish shooter games. They're like the Dark Souls of Bullet Hell. But hey, driving is fun and now you can do it in style with this livery. It features a blue chrome to black gradient and a layer of stars underneath the geometric stuff. There's also some character specific branding and branding from "Digital Wing", the series' artist name for the vocal renditions of the OST. We also have tow arrows, Total as the oil sponsor, Bridgestone as the tire sponsor, some other gaming related things and a hearty dose of UwU. So I think that just about wraps it up.​
