The GT6 Epic Whining and Crying Thread

Long Beach has arrived as free DLC for F5.
A new GT6 track would be nice at this point even as paid DLC.
I'd be happy with just a minor addition like the CCW config. of Streets of Willow.

This is not really a complaint, but I thought I share it here. I've just deleted GT6 from my HDD because I fear its going to break my PS3, and I don't want that. It kept freezing. So. What I'm going to do, is wait for whenever PD releases all of the promised features into GT6, its lacking it way too much. If the wait continues to last longer. Well. Than I have better games to play while waiting for pCARS (a game I'm highly looking forward too along with Forza Horizon 2).

I really wish PD didn't promise anything, and that's also why I don't make promises.

Toko I am there with you, my PS3 slim, hangs at least 1x per day now when loading GT6 post v.105/1.06.
It froze last night when the 24:00 hour login bonus popped up as well.

Say what you want about Forza, but Long Beach looks absolutely fantastic. Wow.

I have been to a few races at Long Beach, well acquainted with the area too.
They seem to have done a really good job on the track/surroundings from what the video depicts. 👍

Doesn't mean you won't. That post was just a stress-releasing reaction to five or six new threads all crying about locking up. Even my highly troll-like "you just restart your game or system" was mostly tongue-in-cheek, as a lot of folks are relating having to completely start over from scratch on building their GT6 files. But I do believe one thread called "how have YOU locked up?" should be sufficient. Then the nerdy types can patrol just the one.

Yeah, too many don't bother reading/looking before posting. I seriously think the space on the HDD thing helps though, as I did suffer lock-ups on several games last year - now, no more.

Of course, I don't make the mistake that so many do of turning the game on in the first place.

I have to admit it, I really wish DriveClub was released by now. I'm picking my PS4 tomorrow - because of MLB the Show 14 - and I will not be able to play even one racing game. DriveClub is delayed, PCars not coming this year, The Crew will be out only in fall. Maybe I will have to pick EA NFS Rivals if I want to play some racing any time soon.

Yeah, the lack of compelling games that appeal to me threw me off PS4 completely.

Maybe GT7 can steer me toward Sony eventually but I doubt it.

Working too much and stuck on GT. Recently retired and found GTPlanet this spring looking for tuning information. The "Epic Whining and Crying Thread" is the most entertaining thing in GT6 right now. All of my GT5 friends lost interest after the first couple of months of GT6.

Finally put GT6 DOWN! For Good & hav'nt played it in 3 weeks, best thing I've done I'm enjoying the heck out of Forza on Xbox One & Asetto Corza AMAZING games after really giving them the opportunity stressed free with no let downs, thanks a million PD.
Now just waiting on Pcars & DriversClub, wow! After 15yrs of GT it's finally over R.I.P. old friend.
