Honestly, I don't have a problem with GT6, save for the pesky freezes I get during seasonal events and the occasional glitching background. But I can look past all of that, and just because there's a few bronies here, I think this video suits the mood for this topic...

Because ITT people think that "EVERYTHING ELSE IS BETTER THAN GT HUR DUR".
Well to be fair, besides the car count I can't think of a single thing that is done better in GT6 than in any other racing games/sims.

I paid £45 in an actual physical store for an actual physical copy of GT6 thinking it wouldn't be a regrettable purchase because I spent a lot of time on GT5. I'm an idiot.
At this point I'm literally only putting my GT6 disc in to get the login bonus, and then immediately taking it out and putting in GTA V instead. It's... well, it's not a bad game per-say because it's still essentially GT5 with some updated features, and I'll probably go on a bit more if the course creator is released and is any good, but on the other hand there's just nothing new. At all. There are new tracks and new cars, and maybe a few gimmicks in the main career, but none of them are really relevant.
Combine that with the fact that GT6 has a bad habit of consistently making cars online disappear because my connection isn't perfect (I have no game-breaking connection issues with any other online games!) and it's just a big £45 hole in my games library which could have easily been filled by a much better game. Heck, I could spend £45 on keys in TF2 and get more for my money. If the course creator isn't up to scratch I'll probably just sell GT6 and go back to making hybrids on GT5.

It's good definitely. But not really the best. With all that was wrong with Shift 2 it had an outstanding track list.
The car count doesn't count, because they cheated with it anyway (viz. duplicates)
I never said it didn't count. No need to roll your eyes. If you would be interested in a fact based discussion and neutral analysis you would see that it is bloated and inconsistent in quality. But I didn't even address those details. But maybe you can point out where GT6 excels except in its car count. Or you could just continue jerking around with provocative one liners.

It would be nice if the "monthly track dlc" wasent just something that existed in KAZ head along with all the promised features.
Also car selection, don't forget a lot of them are STILL ps2 models with "simple" incar view. Quantity over quality isn't a good thing imo.

I read about it yesterday. All that info is speculation on E3 2014 - and was handed over dualshockers.com
I call it bull****, since dualshockers.com is far from being a reliable and legitimate news source.
But anyway, let's pretend Kaz is going to do this.
Then, that would be the ultimate proof Kaz is lying to us whenever he can, to make cash. And revealing a revamped GT6 for the PS4 while the course Creator is not even out yet, while the leaked track is not even out yet; would be basically like ripping a grandma, and then laughing at her while giving her a gentle pat.

My take on this whole thing is that GT is no longer a video game based experience. Kaz/PD are not focused on delivering the best game they can. They are focused on expanding the GT enterprise into other mediums, such as real racing teams and competition. When you see more news about the Academy, and a movie, and other activities that are in no way related to gaming, then you see that the game is an artifact of a growing project. The diehard gaming fans here are getting hosed because we aren't as important as Kaz's other ventures at this stage. We may never be again.
It sounds harsh and juvenile, but the fan base abandoning the game might force PD and related parties to focus back on the game as their main value stream. But the game's relevance in the modern PD landscape might be too far gone.

Not really, as we've had the option to play it since December, which is way better in my eyes than waiting until the PS4 version comes out.
I mean, just think about the number of discussions around Gaikai and how folks were keen to play GT4/3/2 and even 1 on their PS4. Having played it once they just wanted to play it again on a better console - essentially the same as this bit of speculation.
Also, if true, there will probably be a conversion fee rather than having to pay the full price, like with other cross-gen games recently.
I think you'll find that it's Sony and not PD that are behind any such push...

Why do you think that? PD always had a lot of independance. I even remember that back in the early PS3 days, Kaz was saying that right now he was going to stay with Sony, but he was not closed to the idea of releasing to the Xbox as well.
also, there is NOT going to be a conversion fee rather than a full price. MLBTS14 just released and people had to pay full price for both versions.
