I gotta lol at people claiming this is a great update. Nearly one year we have had to wait for community and now i only have one person who even bothers to load up gt6 on my friends list and all he does is tune cars, PD should have released it with a few tracks and cars with the track maker and a few other stuff all in one pack and advertise it to bring players back, I feel like PD invited me to a great buffet then every hour they throw me a mini sausage roll whilst telling me theres a full banquet around the corner but its not available yet but they may post me parts of it every months, not so appetising now is it?

The game is almost irrelevant now and now the community features have been released it hits it home how much of a piss take gt6 has been. I'd really like to know why something so simple took 11 months to release.

P.S the m4 sounds wack, The subaru vgt looks like they couldnt be bothered to come up with anything so took the VW vgt and just added a roof and some body panels.
Couldn't agree more. The community features and course maker were the best things about GT6 and I was very disappointed we didn't start the game with the CF's and one year on most everyone I know is gone from the series and open lobbies are only a shadow of what they were in GT5 at this point. I figured the CF's were the way forward in terms of both organized league/club races, and regular pickup racing with a solid group of regulars. Too little too late IMO.

Not liking the strange echo/reverb effect as a result of the sound adjustments. Makes it sound like the samples were recorded in a narrow alley way sometimes.

I've added some echo/reverb effects myself into a few of my Youtube videos in the past as I found it helped to make the sounds "better", but it's too strong in this update, in my opinion.

Its now horrible. Some cars that used to sound decent are now very bad, and the cars that used to sound bad are completely horrid. Oooooo sigh....

13 hours of waiting for updates to download, install, load the game, install the entire game data and all the updates in game, download more updates IN GAME, wade through loads of pop up "look at this boring car" messages and find my game data is corrupt now, and I can't play online until I'm National A license 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 GT6: Get out. Don't bother coming round for a week or two until I'm ready to put up with your 🤬 again. And no, no new tunes from me until I feel like spending hours on this game again just to get my damn cars back. I can't even do 🤬 Seasonals for cash...

How in hell did you manage to spend 13 hours doing what I found to be a 20-minute job? Are you using dial-up or something?

This has got to be the worse racing/sim game ever.loads of promises-never given

Seasonals-5lap wonders
Prize-hardly worth it
Penalties-you get rammed from behind & you get the penalty
B spec-where is that

So it's the worst sim game because the seasonals aren't long enough, the prize aren't good enough (the cash price is good with login bonus...), and you get some penalties online???
About the promises never given : We still need Track creator, GPS data and B-Spec. But we got already everything else.

Who needs B-spec anyway.

Not you, obviously.

The people who like B Spec might want it, though. Also, those of us interested to see if/how Polyphony has developed and extended the mode, given that they've obviously taken a lot of time with it. I rather think it has quite a lot of potential as a management mode, potential that wasn't really taken as far as it could have been in GT4 and GT5.

I really think that B-spec will be a online only event like the A- spec seasonal races.

I absolutely hate the new interior view sounds. With the new effect the car engine sound is quiet and that makes the tyre squeal and roar even more unbearable.

So, about that 1.14 sound update. In third person view, it sounds slightly more improved, or at least more appealing to the ear. In cockpit view however, it feel as if you are sitting in a can with that reverb going on. Mixed thoughts on this one.

That would be a huge waste, frankly.

Do you ever think before you type? In GT5, B-Spec completion was more popular than the career mode:

That 7.47% represents over 800,000 gamers by the way.

Agreed. I'm sure it's a small step on the long, long path GT has to go to have anywhere near decent sounds but it's still not good yet. Still bad, just in a different way. And with all that flippin' tire squeal going on, if they ever do get a decent sound package together, the tire squeal will ruin it anyway.

As long as it remains ubnoxiously loud, it definitely will ruin any progress made. I never understood why they have yet not let us adjust the sound level(s).

The tire squeal isn't really making any sense either in comparison to the car's speed and controller input, but maybe that's just me.

Yes, who needs B-spec anyway.
Even though I agree with you, at the same time I kinda disagree. Some love B-spec, some loathe it. Why it was taken out to be improved on, no one but PD knows. Looks like PD has forgotten what options are after GT4. Honestly they should have just left it alone and improved on it through updates, but no.

I thought you liked tradition?
B-spec was not around in GT2 or GT3 so it is not a tradition, the cars from GT2 & GT3 and that is a tradition, and like I said I really think that B-spec will be a online only event like the A-spec seasonal races and that where B-spec should belong.

So a feature that was present in the two most recent installments before the current one isn't a tradition, but cars that might've shown up fifteen years ago, and haven't been seen since, are? Gotcha.

I don't think you're the one that gets to decide what belongs and what doesn't.

Premium cars with full premium interiors weren't around in GT2 or GT3 either. Neither was online...or the X Program..or VGT's. So if they're scrapped for GT7 it's ok because they're not tradition right?:dunce::dunce:
