The new in-car sounds are crap.

The cars sound muffled as if I had a bad cold.
TBH some are epic. The echo from the front to back is excellent.

Some others though, the engine are almost unheard below the wind. vibration sound, and the echo itself (HSV is the infamous one).

Latest update 1.13, broke my g25 wheels' force feedback motor. Had a smell of something burning while playing and turned out to be one of the ffb motors of my g25, and burnt chips.

Now with 1.14 I get update errors.

Very very dissapointing, makes me wanna sell my ps3 and go for forza console. And I've been a fan since GT1.

Now I have to get a new wheel, console and game.

Everything was good when running 1.12.

How's your PC? Are you into Assetto Corsa these days? iRacing?
I will wait for full version of Asseto Corsa,iRacing is too expensive for me.
I do not like all games which are based on rFactor1,I can not try rFactor2 demo because it is not for Windows 8.1
And something positive:I like very much LFS :)

Copa Petrobras from Reiza was just released for free. No Online but it's free:tup:👍 What are your PC specs? Do you have a good internet connection? Are you playing LFS on Steam?

GT6 Quick Match mode is an okay start, but ruined by too many incompetent drivers. Every race with more than 6 people has 3-4 people slowly getting off the line. You try to overtake them, they cut you off, and you get a 6 second ramming penalty. Then, people that spin off and cut back onto the track sometimes don't ghost and you get 10 seconds for ramming. Then people ram into you from behind, don't get a penalty, and you get a 6 second corner cutting penalty. I'll stick to Clubs and online lobbies for the time being thanks.

Sounds like fun :D

If that Course Maker doesn't release before and after Dec 6, 2014, I'm never, EVER, going a trust a PD advertisement again and won't be buying GT7. These companies like to lie to much nowadays to try and get people's money. I've already quited console gaming and went off to PC gaming (best decision I made too btw).

It's like a never ending cycle with Polyphony. They announce they're going to release something at a certain point of time, the fans get excited, then PD realizes that they're taking on too much and have to delay, that causes fans to get angry, and then repeat.

All could be prevented if PD actually would save their announcements for when they're completely sure they're nearly done and will be able to finish what they're doing by the set date. That and they actually hire someone for communicating with the fanbase. How hard can that be?!

I seriously don't think something will happen on the 6th because It's Saturday. Nothing happens on Saturday; wait until Tuesday at least before crying foul.

I honestly don't expect anything to happen on the 6th either. It would be cool if something good did happen, but that probably won't be the case. And now I'm back to calling Gran Turismo's death coming in the near future.

I'm not trying to defend PD or anything but did they actually say they were going to release something on the game's anniversary? The most I've heard is "This holiday season."

It doesn't matter if we have to wait until Tuesday or not. It's obvious nothing won't happen on Saturady, that's why I put BEFORE in my post, because a feature like the Course Maker, one of the promised features to be added in a future update should at least be here by now BEFORE the 6th of December, the day of GT6's release.

Look how long it took the Community Features to come out for peep sake? No way the Course Maker is coming out anytime soon unless it's being saved for GT7 (which is highly likely).

I was pointing more at Imari's personal deadline than any of PD's vague statements. If i'm not mistaken he gave them a year time to produce the goods they advertised with during launch. That meant the course creator and 20 or so missing VGT's.

Sorry Toko, just like "I could care less" needs pulling up on, the phrase is "for Pete's sake".

Carry on. I'm in the whining camp and definitely support Imari's stance on false advertising, apologies for being that guy.

"Before and after December 6th"?:odd: What are you playing on the PC?

I was fairly certain the remaining features would be lumped together into a Spec II update around this time, but with the release of the Community Features that theory is out the window. I've gotta think they are struggling mightily to get everything working on the old, worn out PS3 and may never get the thing working properly until the PS4 era. 1 year is an awful long time for a single feature, but I never would have thought it would take an entire year for the community features either. Either way it's a case of too little too late for most players. The diehards will be around until the PS3 goes up in smoke but many of us are moving on to greener pastures.

It's okay, I needed that correction anyway as I forgotten how it was spelt. :P

That will have to remain as a serect. ;)

I had the same thought myself thanks to GT5. I'm guessing the reason why these features take so long to release is probably due to the number of PD's coworkers, their priorities or possibly both. As you said, it's basically too little too late now, because even if the Course Maker was worth to be released, many others and I have already moved on to other things. I'm especially glad I've moved on from consoles altogether because all there getting is half-assed titles being rushed out and promises being broken (DriveClub being a good example of that btw).

PC and mods FTW!!

I played GT1 to 4. In my eyes, nothing compared to it. Then Forza 1 came out. I played that through from 1-4 including horizon. I got bored and thought I'd try GT6. All it actually did was made me really appreciate how much better Forza was. Yes you have to pay for most of the extra content but at least you get what they promise. GT6 just feels like an updated GT4 to me.

GT6 is an excellent game in some respects but I can't help feel that PD cant see the wood for the tree's and are missing half of the point of these games and why we play them. Turn10 actively gets involved with their fan base and asks them what they want. Its a shame really because GT has so much potential and obviously a huge amount of fans.

PS3 is old news but still relevant until a GT7 is released on PS4. I'm grateful that PD continues to support us. I have no doubts that the generator is being worked on. They could port it from GT5 if they added a track pack or two if it's indeed a priority.

For me, GT6 provides plenty to do unless your at 100%. Ahem, 100% completion at your door? You definitely have things to do in the game... Tracks to conquer, Cars to tame... Get to it LOL!

I have many doubts that it's being worked on. It's been nearly ready for a year now.

You may find this to be an unpopular opinion in this thread. It might be more well received in the Epic Praise thread.

"In beta" does not mean "nearly ready." It means it's undergoing heavy bug-testing and improvement, and things usually change drastically several times throughout the beta phase. The basic code, the "kernel" if you will, is typically done or nearly done by the start of beta, but everything else is still highly prone to change.

Maybe it's just taking longer than expected to optimize the code. This is, after all, something that's never been done before in the history of gaming, so there was no way for them to know exactly how to go about this feature. Have you thought of that?
