Greetings fellow drifters!

Today I propose a challenge to all, to find the closest Meihan turn one replica!
A corner of which is known hugely by the drifting community.
The corner presents two beautiful wall runs, and a great opportunity to
replicate the famous 'burst overtake'.

Whether in course creator, city, original or real world tracks within GT, post your findings here and a winner will be chosen.

Sweet who cares bout the quality drifting meihan was funas hell last night awsome runs paul

lol.. talking about ebisu I have a replica of the wall, with some kind of jump on it, its not clasified as a jump, but it does affect the drift a little. fun

And now Hunt for Ebisu? :)

It alrdy exists in the game, on spa. There's a section(I don't know the official name) that consists of an uphill right-left-right ess turn that encompasses a parking lot-esque area to its left(complete with speed bumps). Normally this section is reversed for drifting and turned into almost an exact replica of the Road Atlanta FD course. If that section is followed to the side road on the right instead of following the track on the left, it has a nice little kink to "jump" off of(flying hachiroku anyone) and a long wall to slide against until you get back to the track on the left..I think I have a replay saved of it(no I didn't buy dlc) so ill see if I can upload pics later

I've ran this before, will have to return to it, a good challenge for any drifter.

The variations on this line are all great and I highly recommend people to drift there, but it's not meihan! :'(

I think the Spa section he was on about is supposed to be like Ebisu.
Starting from the same place, but going down the exit road to the right where you went left, and ending up at the second corner in the video, but going the other way. Both seem awesome, Ima go try them now.

Oh, btw, as an idea for Meihan. Grand Valley East. It isn't flat or totally accurate, but its worth a shot. 1:58 in this video.

Its just a double apex right, with the concrete run-off all the way to the wall, which is what makes it similar to me. It is abit wide and it doesn't tighten into a hairpin, but its close-ish.

HAHAH Paul.. and other guys sorry for getting in the way there.. trying to give the wheel a chance but just dont have the time to sit there and perfect it now lol.

I know. The video is and example of "one of the spa variations".

Me and a few D-max guys had a look at two of your lines. Turkeygeorge has no similarities of Meihan whatsoever. ISLYDWAYSI's is better, but doesn't quite have the right feel and is far too wide.

It is wide only in the "after wall ride section" because that entire chain of corners is 1 section in the editor but the wall section if the correct line is taken, provides just the right backwards entry into the following corners which i agree should be tighter. Tandeming these corners proves to be quite a feat when done properly as my last few drifts with random drifters proved that not just anyone could attack that section. I hope the section can be taken advantage of in comps if the line is done correctly, it would prove to be an intense tandem challenge im sure. The wall ride is a 4th gear entry down to a nearly 2nd gear exit back to a 3rd gear transition section... in my 240 of about 380hp which is around the power of the cars most often seen in the meihan videos ( living in japan with people from the area that know some of the burst members personally). Its a great section full of hours of fun playability if learned properly.

Sean welland pointed out to me today how the Spa section is surprisingly Mehihan-esque, and he's right! The fast long right to the tightening near hairpin, makes for some great tandems and burst overtake recreations!
