This video , which the FBI has a copy , is put out by Trump after the attack . I do not think he has learned any lessons .

So ...uhh Pence about that 25th. The opportunity is passing by.

edit: Was this video actually endorsed by Trump? or tweeted?

Totally pointless though. When was the last time a Republican resigned in shame? Has there ever been one? Calling on them to resign is just a waste of energy.

Nixon?

He did resign, was it in shame?
Cant say.
Nixon absolutely resigned in shame. He did so because he had lost the political support of his own party.
His last words spoken in public as President: "Those who hate you don't win, unless you hate them, and then you destroy yourself."

The PGA pulled out of Trumps golf course.

Edit: The links don’t seem to be working today?

Pun intended?

Stephanie Grisham, Sarah Matthews...? Although they quit because of Trump.

Yeah, I'm meaning people being forced to resign by public/political pressure because of something they've done themselves, like all these "calls" we're seeing now for Hawley, Cruz etc. They ain't gonna resign.

I see some people are still calling for Trump himself to resign. You've got more chance of him winning the next Worlds Strongest Man than that.

Trump rioter in full body armour and carrying zip-ties ‘is bartender who broke into Capitol with his mother’

“We wanted to show that we’re willing to rise up, band together and fight if necessary. Same as our forefathers, who established this country in 1776. It was a kind of flexing of muscles,” Mr Munchel told the newspaper.

No Mr. Munchel. 1776 was about fighting for independence from a foreign monarchy. Remember, no taxation without representation?

But it's no wonder he's so confused considering the views of the woman who raised him

His mother Lisa Eisenhart, who said she drove with her son from Tennessee, was quoted as saying: “The left has everything: the media, organisations, the government. We have to organise if we’re going to fight back and be heard.” Ms Eisenhart, who works as a nurse, also said: “I’d rather die as a 57-year-old woman than live under oppression.”
Yeah, the left has everything. Including, apparently, an education. Here's a tip Mrs. Eisenhart, vote. Attend town halls. Join community groups (yeah, not those). And learn about your rights as a citizen.

DC should burn down the Capitol and the White House because of this like twice a day. I guess they’re muppets for not standing up for themselves - at least DC residents aren’t as militarized as Trump supporters, so the lawmakers got spared for all this time.

Well, DC is a special case. And granting them statehood would actually require a constitutional amendment. But after this, I'm pretty sure it's going to be on the table (perhaps along with Puerto Rico).

And after this...

https://www.yahoo.com/news/werent-getting-answers-maryland-gov-002501241.html

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said Sunday it took nearly two hours for the Pentagon to give authorization for his state to send its National Guard into Washington to help protect the U.S. Capitol as it came under attack from a violent pro-Trump mob.

States often help each other with National Guard deployments. Typically, all that's needed is for both states to sign off on it. D.C. is unique because it lacks statehood and falls under federal jurisdiction, requiring the Pentagon's sign-off.

It wouldn't surprise me if they have enough support to do it.

It seems that Parler got hacked in rather a significant manner before it was taken down, and by 'significant manner', I mean admin-level accounts and all user details, including the ID's used to register and all posts.

https://twitter.com/donk_enby

Here's an article with some more details on why it happened... unsurprisngly security steps were skipped, and when their various providers cut ties with Parler that left the barn door wide open.

https://cybernews.com/news/70tb-of-...eos-and-posts-leaked-by-security-researchers/

Reddit users claim that the scrape was made possible due Twilio, an American cloud communications platform that provided the platform with phone number verification services, cutting ties with Parler.

In a press release announcing the decision, Twilio revealed which services Parler was using. This information allowed hackers to deduct that it was possible to create users and verified accounts without actual verification.

With this type of access, newly minted users were able to get behind the login box API used for content delivery. That allowed them to see which users had moderator rights and this in turn allowed them to reset passwords of existing users with simple “forgot password” function. Since Twilio no longer authenticated emails, hackers were able to access admin accounts with ease.

Parler also claims they'll be back up in a week, but with AWS locking them out and every other platform basically lining up to take their turn at disavowing them, I'm not holding my breath on that.

Yep, it seems they were able to grab pretty much everything before Parler went down.

I'm sure a Russian host will step in

I'm sure a Russian host will step in

It's gonna be hosted on TrumpNet. The best colo center you've ever seen. Also the yuugest.
Personally I'm hoping for the ultimate irony, that they can only get service with a provider that has ties to China. That'd make for a fun little show once it was out in the open.
