Many young men see supporting Trump/ right wing ideals as macho/manly, hence more “cool”.
Riiiight, it’s not like a third party candidate has any chance of winning the presidency, nor are third parties deliberately set up to fail in the US. Bernie Sanders’ values are far off from those of the democratic establishment and even implied that he would have ran as an independent but didn’t because he’d have more of a shot if he ran as a Democrat.

The two party system is broken. It has been broken for at least the last 2 decades, if not significantly longer. I know plenty of people who voted for Trump because they do not like the extreme left that's starting to take hold in the Democratic party AND because Clinton was a polarizing figure. Guess what? 4 years later and they can easily rationalize the same decision. The extreme left is growing and Biden might not be noticeably better than Clinton/may not be fit for the position (ignoring the fact of Trump not being fit for the position).Sorry for not following every single post on every single topic. I was simply trying to have a conversation.

Not sure what you’re on about here. Biden is a typical establishment Democrat and slightly to the right of Clinton. There’s nothing “left” about him or his platform. On a political compass, he’s authoritarian right just like Trumpy and much of the other establishment democrats. At best, a Biden presidency would be a continuation of Obama’s.

You don't vote for either one of the white haired dementors for your future. Giving 3rd parties a vote is a chance for change in the future. Coming elections have 2 main candidates that will not help your country in any way. Voting for Biden because he isn't Trump isn't a valid reason. Voting for Trump because he isn't Biden isn't a valid reason. Voting 3rd party because you want actual chance in the US politics is a valid reason though.

Which even by those standards would be miles ahead of Trump so I'm fine with it considering the alternative. I hate the lesser of two evils argument but sometimes it's the only option.

I agree with you there, but the views of the many Democrats especially younger ones have also shifted left. A growing number of Americans support a single payer healthcare option, tuition-free public college, swift climate action, legalization of marijuana, universal childcare, and politicians who aren’t sold out to what I call the “Big Four” which would be Wall Street, the fossil fuel industry, big pharma, and healthcare companies. A centrist platform would be far less likely to address these issues than a more leftist one.

I don't know where you got the idea I have an issue with women. I have an issue with such a high percentage of women willing to vote for someone on video MULTIPLE times touching kids in what I consider an inappropriate manner.
And don't bring up Trump, I've already stated here I'm not voting for him again after his comments about Mad Dog Mattis.

We do have other parties, and other potential candidates within the main parties. Unfortunately, most people are stuck with this 2 candidate mindset. The media doesn't help. The 2 main parties have become too comfortable in their seats, and now we're witnessing in your face corruption and the response is underwhelming.
