I appreciate it, been wanting to get on the list since before christmas, but with the memory card failing, and then the pictures being too big...didn't think I'd get on there. The No Nitrous category is pretty badass...I hope someone a lil more seasoned at tuning can kick me off the top spot though....that way I have something to work towards

I3ig =M=ike

Oooooh, so close yet so far RJ. :nervous:

This is becoming a good battle, and the two of you are only .023/.024 off that magical 8.999 run. ;)

Well I guess it's heating up...because now there's a new milestone to beat.....

8.994 Non-Nitrous 400m :sly:

Sorry, I was in a hurry to leave and forgot I wasn't talking to just Tiny (Mike, as he's known). No Nitrous Viper SRT-10 '03. Backed it up with an 8.976 the run after, but I only have the 8.966 replay saved. I will try to get pictures up tomorrow, but if I don't have time, it will be Friday.

Ahh Sean...nice of you to join the party...been busy I see...but you still have a long way to go...

Run early yesterday evening...but I fell asleep before it showed up in my mailbox from cellphone....8.943 Non Nitrous with the Viper...I'm slowly getting faster....and then 5 minutes later ran an 8.908....I might break 8.800's in another 5 minutes

Well I've kind of hit a stalemate as far as going any faster...and I am not ready to accept that 8.908 is as fast as it will ever go. I was doing consistant 8.911's...but I lost the gearing tune from that setting. Now I need to set my sights on a FF Car....those are my achilles' heel..because I have no idea how to tune them to go fast. I take the nOOb approach and just bolt on big power..and all it does is spin.

Insane quick man.

To think Mafs said "Wow. That's going to be hard to top that time." Hehe.

Because I don't race with a Viper or drag with it, I'm in import fan. ;) The Spec-C was a 9.2xx without trying, and it was consistently that, so was the 3KGT, the Bathurst RX7 was a 9.75. But I found something different to get 8s. And seeing that people are almost at the 8.8's I better start tuning it again soon to claim that #1 for myself. :D

Milehigh, I can't exactly make out the time. It looks like 8.965.

FF's are my specialty so if you need any help with the tuning i will be of some assistance, i think the FF record (without NOS) this is my record ofcourse is high 12's

12.8xx Spoon Civic Type R and the K20 Type R's (Integra,Civic) those run high 12's as well

Gotta love them Hondas

By the way , how the hell did you get a Viper to run 8 secs without NOS , do you drive with the analog or the buttons (i mean for acceleration) ?

The no nitrous Top 10 is all platforms but the FF's don't have a chance in that category Skeng I'm afraid.

So slap on some NOS and lower that 12.8 time and see how you go for the FF Top 15. ;)

STi is too underpowered.

Bathurst, same deal.

3KGT is too heavy.

Let me guess: Skyline Concept or VSII Nur.

Odd how you're claiming a bunch of stuff without backing it up...

I'll go and recharge the batteries on the camera then since you want it so bad. I'll upload all the photos by the end of the night. I've got lots of proof......like I've said repeatedly, I'm just lazy. :embarrassed:

In response to SKengD's question...it's actually was an accident, I decided to play with the ratios one day and it just kept getting faster..alot of trial and error, cause in reality..I don't have a clue what I am doing most of the time. I started with the stock ratios and final gear, changed the ratios dramatically for 3-6 but left 1-2 kinda wide. Also it's all in the shift, I have a very consistant shift pattern that has served me well...probably cause I found the SRT's spot on the RPM band.

I ran a 10.736 in my 71 240zg.
took a while adjusting the traction control and ballast to get the time down.

(well I dug out my webcam to take a picture. it's not the best but here it is.)

Yes , every car has a sweet spot, that is very true.

That definitely does put you in the leaderboard that's for sure Louis42. 👍 I'll put it in straightaway dude.

m4xwellmurd3r, I can see the time clearly, but as for the car........not so. What is that car and what category is that for??

Hmm... I'll start on these instead of breaking 300mph records. I'll 'try' for my spec C later, just means i have to buy a new one *mutters angrily*, but great job so far everybody.

Edit: 7.727 for 1/2 hour's tuning, so not bad.
And video (however bad quality)

Well I took some time off, cause stuff got hectic at work, did my research and came back to run a reall remarkable nitrous pass in my viper.
