Good luck with the NN attempts. Funny how I broke the speed record in the TVR, but i can't tune it for crap in the 1/4 mile :indiff:. My speciality is max speed, so i'm still happy :). But i'll find another car to ensure my spot on the board, at least :mischievous:

That 1/4 mile tune when regeared does 300mph+ aswell. :D It's the suspension that matters. ;)

Well, I haven't got the hang of suspension :(. But I can use gearing very well, and this is what I achieved through 1/2 hour's worth of tuning:

Yay! Third!

Times are updated. You are 3rd Mr.Squeegy man. :P

For now. ;)

*thinks about launching my secret 1000m weapon at the 400m*

And I've got to stop being lazy with the 1000m time too, be the first in a road car with a 13.7xx 1000m time. :embarrassed:

Pics aren't loading jdw19. ;) And I said earlier in this page that I want record times only, that time wouldn't make a dent in the FR category.

Sorry Macca, how about sorry Mafs!! Make me turn my head 90* to see that picture.

That is electrically quick there RJ, that's up there with the Spec-C's and most of the race cars!!

*added bit* Just letting you guys know aswell, I've refreshed the interpretation set by K-Briggs from Ver.1 to my own in Ver.2. Nothing has changed in the rules whatsoever, I just felt that the grammar needed a tidy-up. :)

 No, upload it correctly you lazy sod!! :P

But yes I do need to update graphics card, it's the only piece of getting my computer puzzle not 100% updated yet, but that's another story for PM's. :P

I just looked aswell, that 4WD record you just took RJ had been standing for around 2 years. A testament to that old records strength and makes your new record even more impressive. 👍

*snip*

Ooopsie.

Sorry Mafs :P

Yes, that is a non-nitrous run and therefore... My GT-R is one quick beast.

*snippy*

Sorry Macca...

AAARRRRGGGHH!!!!! I'm not even going to try to match those times,:scared: I belong in the 300 club. Great times though
I did under 8's NN with the Escudo, i'll put that up when I get a new camera battery! :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy: Why... I thought... but...💡

*plans conspiracy against RJ*

Hi guys!

I've heard of this NO NITROUS ROAD CAR CUP and wanted to contribute something. :sly:

Here are my TOP 3 Cars for NO NITROUS ROAD CAR:

Place 1: Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 with 8,572 👍

Place 2: Nissan GT-R Concept (Tokyo Show'01) with 8,639 👍 and without TCS

Place 3: TVR Cerbera Speed Twelve with 8,650 👍

And even as a new car for the list of the Lotus Esprit Sport 350 with 8,912 👍 and without TCS

Zonda time will be under review, that's almost too much a drop from Yalle's PB. :nervous:

The others, no problemo, you'll have #1 & #2 aswell as the Lotus sneaking in. 👍 And doing it in the GT-R WITHOUT TCS is stunning.

Just for future reference guys, I'd like the replay pics of the No Nitrous runs like how McSqueegy and myself have done it. Just makes it that much easier for verification that's all. 👍

Ummm, I didn't say record video. Just go in replay and put up display, when you cross the finish line, hit pause and take your photo RJ. That's all I do. :)

If it's slow.......beat it then RJ. :P

I'm contemplating taking the GT-R out myself for a rap and maybe splurge on the Zonda 7.3 to see how that fares. I find it pretty remarkable from you guys though regarding the no nitrous cars. I thought the golden figure to be 1st would be to get an 8.999. I NEVER expected the cutoff point to be under that!! Makes my initial attempts with the FD RX7 (9.753), Spec-C (9.209) & 3KGT (9.104) pretty pathetic now.

Seperately, I want an opinion on this from you guys..........Soccer Mum class (Wagons/MPV's). Yay or Nay?? That way cars like the Airtrek, Caldina, Odyssey & such go against eachother.

Well we can throw that out there too. I personally would be against it just because the FF category is already 3 seconds behind any other category regardless of the other categories being NN or NOS.

That definitely does put you in the leaderboard that's for sure Louis42. 👍 I'll put it in straightaway dude.

m4xwellmurd3r, I can see the time clearly, but as for the car........not so. What is that car and what category is that for??

oh, sorry for getting back late. I didn't realize the car was hard to see. it's for the 240zg in non-us classic car up to 1975 (I think that's the class) I have a maxdrive now so I'll try to get a better time and post the max file if that's ok. I don't have a way to actually take a picture nor record my replays anymore

I'm back! After... a year, haha...

Is the top truck times current?

(((---LIGHT TRUCK/SUV's---))) (runs must be done without TCS )
1. I-Runner - Toyota RSC Rally Car - 8.732
2. texanidiot - Toyota RSC Rally Car - 8.734

I've also started working on a WRX Spec C earlier this summer.

Just thought i'd mention, I was browsing I-Runners Italian GT forum a while ago, and a few of those times put us to shame :dunce:. His best with the GT-R Concept was 7.444! Anyways, i'll go for another car tomorrow, I need to improve on 1/4 mile times a bit :(.

Macca........you aren't including our Spec-C times. ;) 6.183 < 7.081.

However, I decided to humour you and do a category comparo. I came up with the following results Macca and everyone note, this is based on how the categories are laid out here at GTP with their record setting cars for each category AND I'M ONLY LOOKING AT VERIFIED TIMES!!

FR: GTP - 8.092 vs GTIt (GTItalian) - 8.107
4WD: GTP - 7.540 vs GTIt - 7.444
MR: Same record on both boards - I-Runner's 7.998
RR: Same record on both boards - I-Runner's 8.317
Race: Same record on both boards - I-Runner's 7.081
Spec-C: GTP - 6.183 vs GTIt - 7.647 (that time is already in our list in 8th)
NN Race: GTP - 8.138 vs GTIt - 8.209

From what I can see there, I don't think we need to worry about too many of our records Macca my friend, even #2 on the Spec-C list is quicker than anything else seen on boards around. 👍 I'm more interested in the German contingent at the moment as they're constantly in competition with eachother and as Yalle and Rethima have proven in NN Road, we don't dominate the sprint world yet. ;)

Your time is up macca. 👍

Also, Rethima your Zonda time is also accepted. I couldn't get close to your time but can agree that the time is possible.

I thought I'd just stuff around with the Spoon for old times sake (haven't played with it since I set my FF time a year ago) and low and behold, I've lowered my PB.

My best is now an 11.548@225km/h.

Pic to come of this run or even lower. :mischievous:
