Yep, I'm using the S5 turbo aswell. With the EP3 '04 Civic Type R, it was quicker with NA which was 40hp less than the S5 turbo too. I'll try it with the DC5R another time to see how it goes, I prefer to use turbo for the DC5's anyway.

BTW, I know I haven't updated the times yet, I'm expecting another couple to come from you soon enough.

My fastest road car run so far has been this:

Subaru Impreza Premium Sports Coupe 22B-STi Version (GC) - 9.451

Done with full tuning, including nitrous, no settings changed, as I was aiming for as much acceleration as possible, even if the default maxed out around the range of 147 or so. And the turbo and suspension were the originals.

Don't have proof, however, my data got corrupted before I could take a pic.

You will get better acceleration if you tune your gearbox and won't top out at 150mph tops. A 22B is a definite mid 8 second car without flinching.

Mafs here is some as you ordered, this '04 CTR EP3 has 24 BHP more than the '01 version I did that 11.712 before.

And I pushed the Honda CIVIC TYPE R (EP) '04 sub 11.6

All the times have been updated for you Maxie, had to deal with other stuff first.

I tried the Eclipse too and ended up the same way, getting 12.0's all night with my standard FF tune. I know the setup on this is a little different to that tune but can't remember exactly how with my spring rates or dampers....been way too long.

I did 8.171 in the IMPREZA Wagon and the Evo 7 is exactly half a second slower (boght with NOS) .. ridiculous

The TVR is there unofficially Maxie, when I see the pic it will go into the charts. 👍 But like macca said, nice time. I'm going to get myself out of drag racing semi-retirement and improve my PB's on quite a lot of cars very soon as I build up the GME drag garage, there's still a trick or two this old dog is still learning.

Well I haven't got the Spoon in the 11.4's yet so there's still plenty for me to learn Maxie. Slowly but surely, you're closing in on Jspoon's FF record.

I launch from 5th aswell, but I've got a little trick I discovered last night while doing some testing with the TVR which may change all that. If it works at full pace as it did at 3/4 pace then it's back on like Donkey Kong. On 3/4 pace, I was less than 0.1 behind my PB.

All other records will be updated later today, I've got real estate people coming over early today.

My slimline PS2 is now red circling of deathing my GT4, so you can't really expect some times from me soon...although I really think I should try an SRT10 soon. That is, once my PS2 stops disliking my GT4.

Now, I said this old dog still had tricks up his sleeve and I'm backing up that claim. I've improved my TVR's PB to an 8.240 (photo to come). There's more in it, I can see that, but lining the pieces of the puzzle up (start, middle, end) and making it all work in the one run is another matter.

That is a 7.350@303km/h from the R35 GT-R Concept for the AWD division. There's still more in it, I can tell.

I also have video of this particular run aswell.

*added bit* I improved the time to a 7.346!

*added bit #2* Make that 7.345.

*added bit #3* Now I've decided to attack the Escudo record long held by I-Runner, since I'm on a roll. After hours of struggling, I've finally found a sweet spot and am now taking chunks out of my PB. So far I've jumped from a 7.321 to a 7.199 in one run, jumping me all the way to #2 on the Race Car charts!!
If this keeps up, I might be the first person in the world to show a verified 6 second Escudo pass...I-Runner's record is finally within reach. Stay tuned.

and all other upgrades exept brakes.

Will take awhile before I can upload pictures.

P.S. If I was a betting agency, I couldn't really give favouritism to either person here to see who keeps the FF record. But I will.....maybe 2/1 odds for Jspoon and 9/4 odds for MadMax. i sold my ps2 with my memory card but if i can remember correctly the DELTA rally car with the one with NO back bumper i did low 7's with that car. if i am right i think the TOYOTA 7 and SUZUKI ESCUDO can do high 6's another suprisingly fast car on the 1/4 mile is the NISSAN 240Z low 10's its way faster than the NISSAN 280Z on the drag.

1. Escudo's have never done 6's on GT4....EVER!! The fastest is 7.081.
2. The Toyota 7's have never done 6's on GT4....EVER!! The fastest is 7.462.

I don't have to remember, I'm proud to say that my list here is THE MOST DETAILED 400M LIST IN THE WORLD!! More detailed than cyberscore, GTplayground, ANYWHERE that does the LV charts....this has the most categories and all the times are verified, unlike the other sites.

Go check the charts muppet, who's #1 in AWD with THE WORLD'S FASTEST GT-R? Me. I'm #2 on here with the Escudo (and #3 worldwide) with my time of 7.199, not far behind the world record time of 7.081 which is held by I-Runner from Italy.

You are new, so I'll break it down.
a) My thread, my rules.

b) I'll quote who I want in my thread if they want to spread BS or start something and call them out for it like I just did with you.

c) How about you back up what you say, go take a pic of your best time and show us what you got if you can prove that an Escudo or a Toyota 7 can get a 6sec pass. Go borrow a friends PS2 for all I care since you sold yours.

But I can already say this right now.......like ALL of the others who start drama like this in the 1/4 mile thread saying that Escudo's do 6's (you aren't the first) you won't be able to prove me wrong and you wouldn't even get close to my 7.199, let alone a 6. You simply aren't good enough.

So freaking fast. Best I did in 20 min. was 7.950 or so.

EDIT: Played with the GT-R for a while now. Tomorrow I will claim the (in theory) world's second fastest GT-R. I got a time of 7.476 seconds, but couldn't repeat it. Still, I managed to break into the 7.4xx barrier, with a time of 7.492 I saved in the manner of a replay Pic likely to come tomorrow, as I'm way sleepy Launch is something that has me worried. I don't know whether I'm doing it good... or doing it wrong.

One thing, though. I said I saved it as a replay. I have no problem in repeating it and still make it to second place, but is a pic of the replay image enough? I mean, the screen in which you choose the different replays, in the Replay Theather. It's your thread, after all. You will know what's best. Although, it would save me the pain of running the car again

If you bring up the replay theater screen and scroll down to that particular run without pressing play and take a photo of that screen, I will find that sufficient.

It says where the run takes place so as long as it says Las Vegas then I have no problems at all with it. I actually used this method way back near the start of this thread to prove all my various FF times (when we were all running 11.7's) as I didn't realise back then that GT4 saves and doesn't allow the time to stay up for replay theater mode when you pause for a photo.

BTW, great time. Seeing someone get into the 7.40's finally is giving some competition to that category, being 0.2 infront was getting ridiculous to me, and you have obviously discovered the cars secret (it's not really a secret people, but it's something you have to master to get the good times like C-L has now done). And I'm yet to attack the car with some new settings I've been tampering with for AWD models.

Now.....seperate item. New times for me as I'm ripping apart my PB's on various cars with the new tricks this old dog has learnt.

Toyota 7 Race Car - 7.441 (previous PB was 7.700)
Dodge Viper SRT-10 - 8.203 (previous PB was 8.340)

I'll provide a big collage like Maxie does in the next day or two to make the times all official, I've got 2 more cars that need to come back out of semi-retirement to get the new treatments. Stay tuned.
