I think there's a bit of extra time with the ballast, as my trap speeds are 304-305km/h. I'm having problems finding the right launch too, my best runs are anywhere between 3500-5000rpm. This car is kind of ironic, as most of my good times rely completely on gearing... it's teaching me a few things about LSD and suspension!

kups420, just because you request a WRC category doesn't mean it occurs instantly.
I want to see enough support and interest in the category to justify creating a Top 10 or Top 15 list!! Tuner Village is a perfect example of not enough support (only MadMax & mcsqueegy take up all the spots in that list!)

its not like im forcing you to create a wrc class right away, im just really enthusiastic about the idea of it 
such a class would probably feature more cars due to the fact that the base WRC rallycars have similar setups to begin with because of FIA restrictions and homologations..

And my response is that I can't just let the WRCars enter, I would then have to allow the cars from Group A (Celica GT4, Evo 4 through 6, etc.) & Group B (Starion 4WD, Lancia Delta S4) to enter.
The other thing is that I consider all cars with race livery "Race Cars" and are categorised as such. However, I may consider grouping the rally cars with the other trucks & SUV's and just calling it the "OFF-ROAD" division, so it still includes Rally Raid cars (like the RSC & Pajero).

oh yeah i totally forgot about group B. the lancia delta S4 would probably dominate if it was allowed in a WRC class.
but other than that, WRC spec and group-A spec rallycars should still generate similar/close 1/4 mile times. this would still feature many cars/manufacturers even if the group B cars are taken out (around 3 mitsus, 4 subarus, 3 toyotas, ford, peugot, hyundai)
even if theyre all "race cars" it doesnt mean that they should all be classified in the same category. there are many different types of racing and a WRC machine has a very different setup/purpose than a touring car. even a JGCT touring car performs differently than a DTM car or other touring cars in other series' for that matter. just because they all have designs and stickers on them doesnt mean that they are all similar and should be categorized as one type of car/machine...

But when it regards all out performance, the race versions of nearly every car are faster than their road counterparts, so they all get grouped together. It's a case of simplicity. Besides, this is the world's most detailed 1/4 mile thread already......I feel that this would be unnecessary clutter added onto a category that already exists. 👍 And then I would have to do a category for each of the race cars (Group C, JGTC, DTM) which ends up being a case of futility.
I know that JGTC is different to DTM as DTM is different to Group C LM cars, but the point remains that they are all race cars. I've been bringing a lot of my old drag cars recently to improve their PB's (Viper, Spoon, Toyota 7, Escudo), and if they break records then that's the added bonus. The DC5R hasn't received that treatment yet but it will, it just gets put back on the list behind my GME big batch.

You've got to get past my time first. I tried for 2yrs to get 11.4's, I still haven't done it kups, that illustrates that it's a difficult task. All the greats of the GT4 Drag world have tried and only Jspoon (who has been in the 11.4's for 2yrs now and holds the FF record!) and MadMax86 (who is the prodigy to the GT Drag world) who is only 0.17 behind him have achieved it.
And I doubt Max or Jspoon would be willing to share their setup's either!!

An update on my GTR Concept, including a NN run...
Believe it or not, that was literally my first NN run, and it was the biggest fluke. All I did was take the ballast off and launch it differently. Haven't been able to match it since
But with nitrous, I also changed my launch technique (it's very weird, but it works!) and added 5 kilos of ballast to it. It's starting to make an effect on my right thumb too
