For me it makes a mockery of my index finger playing with that car macca. As you're discovering, the different launches and the ballast play a HUGE role in getting the times down on this ride.

As for the NN run, mine was on my first run aswell, the rest were in the 8.48's. :P

Anyway, times will be updated right now. 👍

Yeah, point of topic dennisw....if you make claims on here, make sure you back them up with pictures otherwise I start getting on your case about being a BS artist. ;) Read through the thread to see what I've said to others that do it, some nice, some not so.

It's nothing personal, it's just that considering this has the most detail of all the 1/4 mile charts around.....I keep the integrity of the 1/4 mile list very highly and only put up times that are backed up with pictures and not full of crap like I've seen with other boards. Only the world #2 Escudo time isn't on here because that member doesn't post on GTPlanet. :)

But next time, give me the session record screen, not that screen. Look at the picture examples from mcsqueegy....that's what I want to see for Nitrous & NO Nitrous runs. :) Either session record, or replay ON the strip for NN's. 👍

it was a session from abut a year ago, i 🤬 at making drag setups, that's why i make other setups hehe:dopey:

RERAN Nissan GT-R Concept (TokyoShow) '01 - 7.673 (slight improvement in my PB )
Mitsubushi Eclipse GT '06 - 12.042 (even closer without NOS)
Honda CITY Turbo II '83 - 12.804 (quite a sleeper)
RERAN TRIAL CELICA SS-II (ZZT231) '03 - 11.520 (Chopped 30/1000's from my previous PB )
Subaru SUBARU 360 '58 - 15.637 (pretty fast for a 51BHP RR :lol: )
RERAN RUF CTR "Yellow Bird" '87 - 8.137 ( 62/1000's faster than my previous PB and faster than RJ's FD :mischievous: )
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evo2 Rally Car '86 - 7.628 ( I just had to test it )
BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 - 8.072 ( same as above, but a slight dissapointment )

I know you can improve , just turn your weakness into your strenght and you'll improve.
In other words try something you don't normally do with your GT4 drag setup.

Patterns need to be broken, attleast a little to test their reliability. (I hope you get what I'm saying)

I get what you're trying to say Maxie. 👍

I'll go through the times today with a fine tooth comb and put them all up. From what I can see from a glance I have to do atleast 8 changes. And then you wonder that I mix your times up or accidentally double them up on a board. :P

But you STILL haven't worked out the GT-R?? :odd: I expected you to work that one out atleast. :) You're still doing the same mistake, I can see that from the replay pic from your speed. Maybe macca or one of the others in the sub-7.50 club will let you know what it is but it's a very very simple change, I swear you will just go, "I can't believe it was that simple" but I'll let you work it out as per our PM's recently. :)

*added bit* I've now combed over all the times and put them in. I was correct, there were 8 changes. I haven't removed the double-up with the TVR yet as I'll put in a filler time with an RX7 to put the car in the list. 👍

I learned something with the Toyota 7 non Nitrous runs and had to test it with the FD '02

So, it resulted as small improvement as you can tell.
LM spec RX-7 included for breaking in to 7's.

It's rather satisfying to know that my 674bhp HSR, without nitrous, beats my Buick Special WITH nitrous! And that it's up in the 8.6's with 1136bhp TVR's :D.I spent ages on the last 0.010, now i'm getting some ice for my thumb... And the Toyota 7 time is just an old one, it's just to get ahead of Max :D. The Mercedes 300SL goes in Non-US production cars 👍

Well, I just did some testing with the No Nitrous road cars, and I can safely say we will all be doing 9s with the right 4WD/FR/MR/RR car and the magic number being an 8sec pass (8.999 or lower). I've just completed a high 9@237km/h pass with the RX7 without even trying, 2 minutes of tuning tops....I'm not entering the time in the chart, but it's an indication of how quick we can all go.

:lol: That test run was done well over 18 months ago!! :lol:

I used a '01 Bathurst R for the test runs back then. The preferred choice is the '02 Spirit R as it's now rivalling the Viper as the quickest FR on GT4, period.

But, the proof is in the pudding with your 9.2sec claim.....so where's a pic?? I want it like mcsqueegy has his most recent one, during the replay so we can see you're not using nitrous whatsoever. It won't get you Top 10 No Nitrous, but it will prove you're the quickest rotor driver without nitrous. And if you get 9.2 WITHOUT nitrous, you should be rivalling the others in the 8.1's with nitrous. :cool:
