Appears there is a phantom post. Maybe this will do something...

Also, I don't think I'm going to be able to catch Max, there's not much I've seen show any true improvement...

EDIT: And of course there is now no phantom post causing a page 49

The phantom post was from nitrorustler about 15 pages back now RJ. :P

And , RJ admits defeat?!?! Wow. Never saw that one coming.

You never admit defeat when you're racing me. :D

I know :P

Still screws up every time a new page would normally start and generally annoys me :P

And , RJ admits defeat?!?! Wow. Never saw that one coming.

Not completely given up but I think I'm going to need to build another Spirit to catch up.

You never admit defeat when you're racing me. :D

That's cos you're slow and I know I can eventually catch you :P

Might just rebuild another rx7.

You're getting there, mazdaman. 👍 #3 Spirit R time 👍
Just Me and R. J. ahead of you now. :mischievous:

Here are few FF times I've ran recently:
Peugeot 206 RC '03 - 12.034 (maxed out here, damn)
Clio Renault Sport 2.0 16V '02 - 11.795 (a bit lighter and powerfull than car above)

MadMax

Times updated. Bravo mazdaman, not just for the time but for learning how to use the edit button. :sly: I'm serious though, it's great to see you've become used to how things work on GTPlanet and have adapted your posting to match it, keep it up. 👍

Great work there mazdaman , boght with improving the Spirit R time and getting the hang of editing your posts 👍 👍

Now, I have once again learned a thing about GT4 tuning
and applied it with all of these cars:

madmax86fflvdragstripre.jpg

cars in the picture are:
Peugeot 206 RC '03 - 12.034
Clio Renault Sport 2.0 16V '02 - 11.795
RERUN Toyota Modellista CELICA TRD Sports M - 11.714
RERUN Trial CELICA SS-II (ZZT231) '03 - 11.516
RERUN Spoon CIVIC TYPE R (EK) '00 - 11.477

Now, I could use this thing I learned about Naturally Aspired Engines on other drivetrains aswell,
Possibilities are Zonda C12 S 7.3 and SRT10 for example.
And maybe it could work on the supercharged Speed 12 aswell :mischievous:

PM->Mafs , if you have time create a 11.4xx Spoon Civic . 💡

Yup im going to take some time off the rx7 and trying to get my supras on the list.So um will there be a sport tire class????

That's it, I'm done. I just can't compare with you guys. Kudos for the work you all have done the last years! It has been a small but nice time spent in the 1/4 Mile for me. I wasn't born to do this, but I'm glad I at least made it into some charts. 👍

Yea i was thinking of that i was like is it me or no one wants to race in that class. Also what is spec c wich cars are those???
Codename L dont give up keep going you have been doing good in the records.

C-L, take a week or two of circuit driving then come back to the strip, you feel refreshed and ready to attack the 1/4 again. And you can't say you can't hang with us, you're one of 3 people WORLDWIDE that has done an 8.0 in FR and the current #2, that takes some effort dude!! 👍

mazdaman, Spec-C refers to the Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec-C '04. It has a nitrous glitch so it got it's own category, read first post to see when I did that.

Thanks for the tip about key element of Nissan GT-R Concept '01

mcsqueegy and mafia_boy!

I've pushed the car to new ridiculous hights last night:
.255 and .413 are the 1/1000's of non nitrous ans nitrous runs I've reached.
(not revealing yet which one is with and which one is without NOS) :mischievous:

MadMax

If it's using your camber trick I was right behind you on that one....I was anticipating on doing that later on next week after TCv5 Supercar is finished.

I know it will be 7.255 and 8.413 for NOS and No NOS. There's NO way you're 0.2 quicker than both of us off the juice. :P

I await your pic to then congratulate you for being the new world record holder for road cars.

But I won't admit defeat.......yet! :mischievous:

Did you become a parrot last night PF?? :P

tbh mate, I don't really know what happened last night around the time I posted that so it's entirely possible I did become a parrot, but haven't yet noticed.

But I think it was just a post giving you some inspiration to go against that 'other Mad Finn', MadMax.

I think I've found a nemesis with this chappie, he's just outrageously better than me at the quarter (and everything else), so I applaud any effort to beat him. Of course, that's meant in the nicest possible way.

I'd love to add something to this thread but haven't tuned a 300mph car since GT1, so will stop now.

Hey Mafs , here are the GTR Concept runs pictured:

The underlined part suprised me,
but you're off the hook, I didn't run 7.255 but 8.255 and my NOS time got into 7.3's since the last try of 7.413.

You are still the #1 road car record holder at GTP.
On the otherhand I'm 0.111 seconds overall ahead of you with the Nissan GT-R Concept (TokyoShow) '01 :mischievous:

(((---PRODUCTION CARS 4WD---)))
RERUN Nissan GT-R Concept (TokyoShow) '01 - 7.382

and

(((---NO NITROUS ROAD CAR---))) (Cars must be run WITHOUT the nitrous attached!!)
Nissan GT-R Concept (TokyoShow) '01 - 8.255

This car is one crazy piece of metal, I tested it with my non Nos setup (with NOS) using different tyre grades:

N3's 9.089 <- That's insane and with N tyres
S3's 8.585 <- Same thing, so mutch faster than anything else on S tyres
R3's 7.789 <- This time not highest guality tyres, just to continue the "3" comparement.

Thank's PF for upgrading me from rival -> nemesis rank 👍

About the parrot part, I thought that was just an echo :sly:
I didn't know you could reach 300mph in GT1, 400km/h yes but ~483 :nervous:
We'd love to see you attacking the 1/4 mile , you alredy have a nemesis and few rivals to compete against :mischievous:

MadMax

Nice way to put me back in my place Max. :P I'm just astounded with that NN time!!:eek::eek: I almost want to check your GT-R to see if it's using C16 race fuel. :D:sly:

Man, I spent all that time to beat Macca's time by 0.001 and now I have to pull another 0.178 out of my butt to catch your time!! :nervous::scared::crazy: This is why you're one of my fiercest rivals, you always make me elevate my game in one way or another. :D

As for the Nitrous run, there's a little trick to it at launch which will chop another 0.05 off easily for you. ;) I'll let you try and discover it. There's actually two tricks I use for this car, one in particular for nitrous runs, the other for the NN runs. The TCS level helps dramatically with this car too.

Anyway, I'll get to updating the times right now and congrats for taking the NN Record Maxie. 👍

Actually it's running with regular 98 octane

Thanks, got some more work for you unfortunatedly:

Congratulations for the times, MadMax, those are incredible!! :)

Talking about tricks, is it just a mere coincidence that I told mcsqueegy the trick of the GT-R, just for him to tell it to MadMax? :D

And yet C-L, there's one more trick left in the GT-R book which I am keeping SO CLOSE to my chest that you guys are going to have fun discovering what it is. :P That's the only way I'm keeping this record so far, otherwise Max WILL get 7.2's I reckon, it's only a matter of time.

That's if I don't put the camber trick into action first WITH my other secret to get a 7.2xx myself. :D

I'll get to updating later today boys and girls, I've got appointments to keep this morning.
