Jesus guys! I'm away for a few days, and look what happens...

I've given a few more cars a run, including 8.420 with the GTR Concept NN. I'm not putting that up anymore . But I have also achieved 8.182 in the Ford GT and a slightly improved time in the V-Spec II. Pictures and (hopefully) videos to be up soon.

On a side note: I've hit 8.878 in the Lotus Esprit 350 without nitrous... not an easy task!

And yet C-L, there's one more trick left in the GT-R book which I am keeping SO CLOSE to my chest that you guys are going to have fun discovering what it is. That's the only way I'm keeping this record so far, otherwise Max WILL get 7.2's I reckon, it's only a matter of time.

That's if I don't put the camber trick into action first WITH my other secret to get a 7.2xx myself.

Just how many tricks for the GT-R are there, man? I know the simplest one, and I'm stuck there...

Don't tell me, I will figure it out for myself... someday.

Can't wait to see what you've got lined up over such a long time away from us. But you have some new records to reclaim in other categories, the competition has stepped up since the old days. 👍

Did you ever get 400mph in the Escudo in Max Speed, going the right way around?

Did you ever get 400mph in the Escudo in Max Speed, going the right way around?

The old PS2 allowed me to play with the NTSC versions of GT ..
and now i can play only with the PAL version ...
The natural place (different from off_road) for the escudo is the
DRAG STRIP .... at the end

Now I'm trying a PS3 (not mine) .. i'm in doubt if buy one
for myself soon..

The Primera has the best gearbox of all the FF's I've found Max. If only the Spoon or DC5R had that type of gearchange.

Was that with a 60,000km example?? *edit* I should read better, thought you said '90 Primera. Try the '90 though, it's gearbox is better than the '01's. 👍

I'll give you a FF challenge to see what you can do.....Pontiac Sunfire GXP. I reckon an 11.5xx wouldn't be too far out of your grasp.

I'll give the Pontiac another try and tell the results in a few days.

I also did a bit pretesting with the 90's Primera and did 11.897 in about 5 minutes.

I've reran the Pontiac Sunfire GXP '01 with results : 11.670 (0.004 improvement )
This car won't do 11.5's due to the fact that it weights over a ton and packs together just 309 BHP.

Now, I'll counter that challenege by another.

It's actually faster than the Eclipse GT '95 when tuned properly.

I couldn't make the car do 11.8's after 1,5 hours of tuning.
In about 5 minutes I reached 11.921 with default FC transmission
and changing the gearings made it just slower.

I'm rerunning few cars and here is the 1st update:

Non nitrous Race Car
Chapparral 2J Race Car '70 - 8.089 ( The ground effect car )

I'll gather some pictures and put them together soon.

i've chopped 0.001 off my previous PB on the Spirit R
and 0.005 with the SRT10

Also I have done an '00 Aston Martin that did 9.595
and a '93 Silvia that did 10.522 with sub 300 BHP

yea i know, the time suck but i like seeing where others are at so i now know how much more tuning to do. i'm waiting on getting my digital camera back because my photos suck on my cell phone and that's the only way i can take pics. i wanna work on the time now and hopefully by then i have my camera back and up and running.

I have ran the exact same time witn Non Nitrous GTO Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Turbo (J) '95

With the same car 1000m is done in 15.400 - 15.450 seconds
