I'm already chasing you down evokid.....I've just done a 7.324, my first improvement in the car in aaaaaaaaaaages!!

And believe me, I have always felt that the GT-R MIGHT have a 7.299 in it but even to catch your 7.315 is going to be hard enough as it is.

Not that....he's actually got about 10 times I need to update from the previous few posts he's put up, especially the 7.3 sec Minolta and I was going to do it after I had a sleep for the night. As you would know, it's now 4am here and all I am doing is running the car up and down the strip since I saw the 7.320....I've already put in another 50 or so passes and aborted another 50 when the car gains traction too early.

Thanks for the compliment and to your credit....it's motivated me to actually improve my time after holding the World Record for a road car for nearly a year! As the saying goes, I'm #1 already so why try harder?? Well, you've given me the incentive to try harder and I thank you for that. 👍

I've only tried one Lancer so far, the Evo 8 RS, but I recall from memory that it was quicker with R1's on the front. That may have something to do with it. However, I don't think any Evo 4 can do 8.0's when my latest Evo 8 RS managed high 8.3's.

Actually, I will accept them if it's been proven with other footage. He has already done so with his YouTube videos and session record screens. His times are very quick, I'll be the first to admit them....to go out and break my record after 2 days on here shows he's got something worked out, and it may be something that none of us currently have.

I want to see you get LOW 7's with the 3000GT & R34 because no one has come near those figures.....mid 7's, sure. Not low 7's, unless you prove me wrong. Like I said in my previous post, I would prefer you to focus your attention on the Escudo and see how you do with that because that is the Holy Grail when it comes to the 1/4 mile, mastering that car. Only three people in the world have beaten the 7.200 barrier [I'm #3 with 7.199, behind I-Runner (7.081) & rossifumi from another GT forum (7.166)], so it would be good to see a fourth join that club. mcsqueegy is the closest to it so far.

I have to agree with the guys on this one because it is part of the Acceptable Use Policy NOT to use text speak (c, plz, u, r, 2, y....stuff like that) and to type with proper English (capitals, commas, etc.) because there are a lot of users here that use English as a second language and doing text speak and not typing properly makes it harder for those users to read what you have posted. It would suck for you to get a warning or an infraction because of that (ask mazdaman, he knows too well! ).

I just watched that GT-R video, and even though I've seen it, I almost cannot believe it and I'm finding it fishy. I'll explain.

To go from redline on launch to get that time seems next to impossible from my viewpoint because I've tried that launch hundreds of times and seen it LOSE me atleast 0.05 to 0.08 on the 1/4....and I launch in the same gear as you aswell evokid. I'm going to retry this in a similar fashion and see how I do with it because something's up and I'm going to get to the bottom of it. 👍

As for the Escudo....similar thing, you've launched in 2nd and been able to keep it on boost?? Man I'd love to know the ratios you've used to manage that!! And is that time on the video a 7.209 because the quality really makes it hard to tell so.

*added bit* I've just let a cat of the bag since my record has been broken and allowing someone to take over the GT-R mantle once they have mastered the settings I have handed them.........stay tuned as to who has gathered the secret of the GT-R from me.

I love gt its the best game i ever seen, Guy the game help all of us to come together and take these cars to there limit. It seems like every time i put down is fishy, i send pictures, and videos, and now i have to send settings, then what? The i runner guy did he had this hard time to, cause all he prove to me that i have more work to do on the car that he did a great time on. I would never give out my lancer evolution 4 setting, it took me a long time to get it there, My secret is always aim for better,and one more thing each car has special gears once you find them you would understand why i have good times. for example i would have a car getting a speed of 250 km, and that is with the fine tune. now when you have found the special gears you could get up to 300 km, i guess that you would find this wared, some day u would find it out your self. 👍

No, it's not always fishy and I'm not jumping on either bandwagon, because I've already defended you against the others when originally questioned over the validity of the time. All I want you to do is just read and understand what I'm saying here because I have already said this in private message about how many runs I have performed on the GT-R (well over 5000 seperate attempts to the people out here) in all it's different facets and areas to improve.

This is where I see it and keep in mind I'm not attacking your time, but the main area of concern regarding the GT-R is your launch. Now, I will do a video tonight to emphasise what I'm talking about here and add it to my next post but the point as what I said before is that I personally have seen losses of 0.05x to 0.08x when launching from redline compared to it's preferred launching rpm. This is launching it in the same gear as yourself which is 3rd gear. I'm not doubting the time because of it's authenticity. 👍

The i runner guy did he had this hard time to, cause all he prove to me that i have more work to do on the car that he did a great time on.

I-Runner (my friend, who I consider the best GT4 drag racer, period!) did more than prove himself to the drag crowd. He was the best at the Top Speed test aswell (along with masterstorm). I've watched his video of his 7.081 run more than 100 times, picking it apart to garner every last bit of knowledge from that run, and he will never give that tune out. I won't give my Escudo tune out either but I've let a current player right back in the game with the GT-R tune.

No because we have already discovered this with the RX7, Viper, Escudo, amongst many other cars. Our knowledge is quite vast and varied about the special gears.

Wow. I will talk out of my 🤬 here because I have yet to test this myself, but launching from 3rd gear? I launch from 2nd, always. I doubt there will be any difference in launching from 3rd with my current setup, though.
