driftking, I've been lazy with it and have apologised to evokid about it. Besides, why would you care, you're not in there at all......

mazdaman, don't act coy because it wasn't even a few months ago that you were going on with your GT4 stuff, like MTN, and your claims of getting the fastest rotary (which you never did). So saying "people still play this?" only shows ignorance.

I've had the set up for it but since my ps2 broke lost the love for gt4 hope fully when gt5 is out I"ll be back

I'm new to the forums and I'm enjoying reading the time slips of all these cars. Sucks i can't get in on this at the moment seeing as i don't know how to upload pictures. I'm just messing around with the rx-7 spirit R type a at the moment and ran a best so far of a 8.673 E.T still on stock gears and suspension setup and just messing around with the driving aids and ballasts.

All times have been updated. In one go, evokid has taken the records of FIVE categories.
That's a pretty incredible effort. Including your GT-R time, which stood for bloody ages IIRC and was beaten by 0.011, which is a lot over a 7-second track.

You should check out M&M Tuners for some 1/4 mile setups. It's complicated setting up for this, and you can still lose heaps on the run if you don't know how to launch. The gears are the most important part, followed by suspension. Read half a dozen setups and try to pick patterns in the similarities and differences between the tunes.

You should be able to get close to macca's 0.5s lead by tuning and practising lift-offs.

What you mean by macca's .5s lead? I might check out the tuning section. The fastest i got my rx7 to go is 8.3s right now. I need to find a way to post some pics so i can at least show i actually done it. But I'm able to Go WOT with nitrous right off the line with great traction so i think its the gearing i need to work on.

But i think their should be a stock turbo section for fwd ,Fr etc. I think that would be interesting.

👍 that's for trying, my friend we do not get good over night, it takes a lot too get good time out of rx7, it is not an easy car to work on. for the picture Attach Files and up load your picture there. but i will help u.

Cool. I know i can most likely learn how, its getting a camera that will be the hardest. I used to have a camera phone but it got stolen at school. But getting from a 9.1 E.T to 8.3's is still a nice achievement.

I have a nice set up for you for the RX-7. Hey evokid would you mind running it?

Sorry to bother you mazdaman but your grammar is starting to take a tumble. We all know what happens to users who use improper punctuation...

Actually, you aren't 100% with your corrections either driftking. The correct quote should be this:

I have a nice set up for you for the RX-7. Hey evokid, would you mind running it?

See, you're missing the , after the evokid which I've added this time. Now, I can grammar police my own thread quite capably and if I need assistance, then the mods are only a "report" away. ;)

dsmfirstgen, don't mind driftking....he's being a bit nazi-ish with the spelling with no real good reason. However, it is a requirement of the AUP to write in proper English with capitals and correct punctuation and mazdaman has been well known in the past to not be very proficient with his spelling so it was just pointed out to him.

Now, as for photo taking, maybe your family has a digital camera laying around?? If they don't then don't worry, because digital cameras are going for as cheap as chips these days. Don't be surprised to find something with 6 or 8MP with video record function in a pawn shop for about $20-30 at most. 👍

All it takes is a photo that's legible (ie. I can read the 🤬 thing!) using your session record screen at Las Vegas (I will accept your leaderboard times if you've already proven yourself) and upload to imageshack, copy the link here and voila, done.

Now, I don't want to look like an 🤬, and I have read this beforehand

Now, I can grammar police my own thread quite capably

but people keep pointing out mazdaman's grammar, yet no one seems to notice evokid2's grammar.

By the way, congratulations on the records, evokid2. 👍 Really amazing what you have done in so little time.

Actually it was brought up about 3 or so pages back. In this particular post, I made mention to evokid about his grammar. But he hasn't gone to all areas of the "planet" and made all these spelling errors and such in other areas. Actually, I made reference to him using proper English after you made your post (I've quoted it in that particular post) and agreed with you guys about it.

However, this is a seperate point but tied in with this issue, understand guys that I'm the one who has to read EVERY SINGLE POST in this thread and if I haven't got a problem with it (ie. I can read your post properly so I can put your time up) then there isn't any real problem with it to me and if you still have a problem with it, hit it up with a mod via the report and let them know. It's not like it's isolated as it gets sent to EVERY moderator on GTP. As I've said, I can police my own thread quite capably......however, it's not my JOB to enforce the spelling policies put out in the AUP, that's up to the staff to deal with.

By the way, congratulations on the records, evokid2. 👍 Really amazing what you have done in so little time.
But the thing is, it's NOT in such a small time.....his Escudo time as he said in his YouTube video and in this thread was from 2005. So in reality, his record has actually been around for longer than I-Runner's, but it hasn't been made official until the other week when it (along with all the other cars) were uploaded onto this thread and verified a few times by myself (I needed to see it again and again against I-Runner's 7.081, and I can see some more improvement can be made).

I noticed it. I was about to chalk it off as English not being his first language, but it says he's from Washington, United States! :boggled:

English may not be his first language though. mazdaman, on the other hand, has told us he's from Barbados (correct me if I'm wrong mm), where English IS the first language according to this wiki page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbados

How is that a grammar problems problem?

Your not wrong Parnelli Bone, but I'm what you call a "halfie" because I was born here and I'm "trini-bajan". But,there is no exscuse on the way I just wrote and I'm sorry.

👍

Hehehe, even in evokid's hands, your RX7 can't make #1 of the rotors mazdaman. :P

I'll update the time.
It was'nt even the full set-up I gave him a little something to start with
remeber this quote "the ancient one never gives all his trick"Man I really need a darn ps2.

i have a Nissan GT-R Concept '01 - 8.225 no nos, time but i do not see it up, when i get the time i will work on an rx7, but for now i am just chilling.:sly:

Still, 8.1 secs is a good time. The best I can do is around the 9 second range...in the Formula GT. I'm more suited to tracks with corners.

I did some more runs with the gtr, the best time is not the other picture. i even have a replay.👍

So long as you put up a screenshot like MadMax has in this post (click here) then I have no problems with the No Nitrous time. See how in that pic it shows that there is no nitrous attached (ie. no red nitrous bar)?? That's what I want to see for NN runs.

Now i understand, i send you some different pictures, i realy out did my self this time. NO NITROUS
