This track is absolutely amazing! I love it ever since I had to run a game-version of it (LeMans 24H, PS2) and became instantly a fan of all those up and down, blind apex corners. That and corner 1. Beautiful track!

I smell a Star wars reference in the works.

Edit: Nevermind, theres one right above this post

How's the DW's fuel economy compared to the P1 & P2 cars? Can it do less stops and make up some time in that way? Would be interesting to see tomorrow.

Off topic, but wanted to respond to two comments:

Now try to beat 3:19.074 at Sarthe.

It's not possible without unrealistic top-speed settings actually.

This was what I managed with only Max Aero and Racing softs, no messing with top speed settings or anything else. Of course admittingly, this was way before 2.08, actually before Spec II.

Just found out through the grapevine (Thanks John! ;)) that Sean Johnston of GT Academy USA 2011 fame and your 2012 IMSA GT3 Cup Champion has been invited to drive for the Hertz GTC Porsche team during Petit tomorrow. 👍

Lol! Anywhere there's a camera there's an oportunity to make a sponsor smile!

Oh God, you know you're a sim racing nerd when you can tell where the car is by just looking at the pedals and listening to the engine!
Lol!

Oh man I loved that game still have it, it even had the aco logo right on the cover. I wish Infogrames would have kept making them every year. :(

urgh didn't realise I'll have to pay to watch the coverage on ESPN. Oh well it's worth it! Also I have the Infogrames Le Mans game too. Might have to dig out the Ps2 and play it again.

So does anybody have a live feed for the PLM for those of us trapped in the states and who's cable/satellite provider doesn't carry ESPN3?

Ros in UK Motors TV (Sky channel 413) has it live from 4:45pm but it is interupted by Nascar :ouch:.

I don't have sky :(

It's no problem though, 3 quid to watch the race isn't really a problem.

Edit: Sweet! there's replays of qualifying on here ^^

Well, no one on justin.tv has a feed, I can't get motors in the U.S., it isn't on ALMS.com, it's only on ESPN3 for me it seems, and I'm not near the campus so I'm going to have to miss the green flag. Which means I'm not watching this until I can do so on replay tomorrow. Which means I'm keeping well away from this thread for now. So long, boys! :)
