The Le Mans General Discussion Thread

What do you hate about it? Ill admit at first I was skeptical but after seeing it i the flesh at Le Mans I think its awesome.

Don't get me wrong, I think the DW is a great thing, but...
I don't think it should be racing. There are rules for a reason, just because your car is the latest and greatest thing doesn't mean it should be allowed to race.
Yes, the concept of it is great, but I don't think it belongs until it fits the regulations.

When you put it like that they're good points. But you have to remember it's not running for points. Its just running to prove a concept, and its proving the concept of lightweight low drag technology very well!

^^Pretty much my exact feelings.^^

Different perspective on the incident from earlier this week:

He was fading right... not sure if just coming off the curbs but he looks like he could have stayed over a bit longer. But Gunnar also could have stayed to the right a bit more.

Then by that same token, doesn't any GT car with a Hybrid running "Unclassifed" fall into that same category?

From that perspective its actually quite hard t0 see whose fault it is.

Exactly why I don't blame any of the parts involved for the incident or the middle finger flipping. Pretty easy to judge from the outside

Seems about right. Both could have taken a little more care.

Edit: And jav I agree, From the porsche onboard it doesn't even look like he got onto the rumble strip. and turned in more than usual. Must have been very frustrating!
