I had a dream where Famine closed the "Create a Nation" thread.

Well... you were close.

And I had another dream that I swore I had before. Does anyone get these dreams sometimes where it is the exact location and events occurring, but maybe with different people?

For example, I have some repeating dreams that occur about 5 times over a year. I can't remember what is was, but when I get it again I remember it for a day. That was two days ago, I can't remember it now.

I seem to rarely have a dream of any sort, or my memory is so bad that I can't remember it just after waking up.

Flying dreams are great aren't they?

I remember my 1st flying dream... though i remember i was quite scared the 1st time i flew.

........XsnipX......

Anyway has anybody experienced similar things whilst flying in a dream?.. i'd be interested to know.

Yes, Flying Dreams are fun - don't we all wish we had the will to fly IRL? The Dreamworld is whatever our imaginations can accept - and when one is not bound by physics that include gravitational waves or being caught in the Jello of a giant God Particle - then we can truly exercise our wills the way we wish - have sex with someone we desire, eat a huge meal, fly, swim underwater for hours . . . drive, drive, drive. Hold on. We have GT5 for that.

As for the 'buzzing' and the 'spasming' - I've heard that before. Seems to be symptomatic.

I had a dream where Famine closed the "Create a Nation" thread.

This was a good one - and also shows you may have some ability in pregonitive dreaming. Remembering that the subconcious talks in parables, we can asssume that 'Famine' represents 'thread-closing' to you - and you 'saw' that the thread was going to shut-down - though not in any particular way. What was more important was how you felt when you woke from the dream - sad, happy, or just indifferent.

I had the strangest dream yesterday night. I was in biology and was walking back to my seat and the girl I like started saying my name. So I stopped and went up to her table and asked what's up. She then asked me if I wanted to smoke with her after school so I said sure. I don't remeber much else except asking for her number later on in the dream. It was also very rainy and dark outside.

^ Hehe :D

I think I deserve an award for weirdest dream EVER. This is from last night.

So it took place in biology again, and we were in the class and there was this giant ant (like 5 feet long) walking around under every bodies tables and it was biting people's ankles. Whenever it bit someone, my teacher gave them two Viagra. Yes Viagra for some reason. So anyways, I got but by the stupid thing and he gave me four pills and I popped them in my mouth and started chewing them. He said two were for my friend sitting next to me so I spit out the two half chewed pills and then realized I couldn't swallow the other two. So I get up into the hall which looked like a hospital (long hall with sinks and cabinets on the sides with all the blinds drawn and dim lights) and went to a sink for a drink. I couldn't get at it for a drink so I rolled my eyes and moved to one at the en of the hall. Then I got on my back under the sink so I could get a drink and when I turned it on it wasn't water but soda. Then I started choking on it and fell off the sink onto the floor. Then I woke up.

OK I'll start.

One of the more 'notable' non-lucid dreams I had was where a jet (which looked like an f-18 Hornet) flew just feet above my house, made a U-turn, and crashed into it. It was being driven by three midget-sized pilots who just wanted to use our toilet.

About three days after that dream, this happened.

Another similar dream occurred where I was shooting teenage zombies with a revolver as I was defending an innocent child. That morning, I woke up to hear that a man shot and killed multiple people during the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises.

That's kind of scary, I'd say. You might be able to “predict the future”.

1. Does anybody have weird and bizarre dreams? What I mean is by things that are completely random or out-of-place.

2. Do you notice that some of the "content" in your dreams are based off of some things that you did recently?

I had perhaps the strangest combination of these in a dream I had while taking a nap. I would tell you but it's so bizarre that you'll just say, "cool story bro".

I had one that was very strange. I'm not allowed to say it here I don't think.

I would like to know if there's any way to recollect your dreams. I'm not talking about the dreams you remember, then forget within 15 seconds. I rarely remember any of my dreams, but I'd like to, just for the fun of seeing what I dream about. Is it even possible to 'manipulate' this, or is it just random?

Write 'em down in a book next to your bed. Not a fully fledged story, but a quick recap of what happened 👍

I'd do that...
But I don't remember them when I wake up.
What I'm trying to figure out is if there's a way to even remember what dreams I had, if that makes sense. Right now, I don't remember any dreams whatsoever; no recollection whatsoever.
But I'll try to remember to pay closer attention after I wake up and see what comes of it.

Get a good night's sleep. I don't lucid dream as much as I used to before school started, partly due to my 5 hours a night sleeping habits :yuck:.

When you wake up, either write it down or just try and remember. Vivid dreams are much easier to remember, so try getting at least 8 hours of sleep, and be sleepy before heading to bed. It comes naturally to me if I sleep well, but if I don't, I don't remember anything, or even having one at all.

Makes quite a bit of sense.
I remembered dreams just about every night when I was little, back when I probably got 10 hours of sleep every night. Now, I get around 6.5 to 7 hours, so that could be a reason. Of course, I sleep much more on weekends and I still don't remember dreams, but I suppose that could be due to the fact that it's not my normal sleeping pattern. Again, I'll try thinking about it when I wake up tomorrow morning.

I had a similar shooting dream the night before the Batman shooting and even dreamt about a bullet going through a wall. The next day I heard about the fact that one of shooter's bullets had penetrated a wall and gone into the adjacent cinema.

It seems sometimes that we are all connected. Whether we like it or not.

Well, we almost always have dreams, but if you don't remember, it's not bad. Like this morning, my dream I just had was like 5 seconds before my alarm went off. I wrote down what I remembered: me hearing gunslinger by avenged sevenfold.

Yeah, you lose 60% of what was in your dream in the first 10 minutes.
Hey, does anyone know how to instant lucid dream? I know you can do it overtime, but like what about instantly?
Also, do you guys have those dreams when your stuck in bed, can't scream?

So...
I actually did remember my dream, after telling myself to remember it in my head, as well as "writing it down" on my bedspread, by pretending to write it out with my finger (it works for me!). Apparently, my dreams are a boring, but quite random, sequence of events. For some reason, I had left class at school to see what the bathrooms were like (never been in them in real life, either). To my great surprise, they were sparkling clean, and didn't smell bad. After leaving the bathroom, I was escorted back to class by a blind old man, presumably in charge of monitoring the campus. After that, I don't remember anything, except having to repeat myself in the dream so the blind man knew where I was at.
Pretty odd. I suppose the bathroom part comes from a comment I made two days ago in the High School thread about avoiding bathrooms at all costs. I have no idea where the blind hall monitor comes from, other than the fact that we do have several old guys around campus who are hall monitors.

Well, when you dream, every person you see in there is someone you've seen before..

Hey guys, just had my first lucid dream! Although it is something I could've thought of anything or anyone;), I ended up eating ice cream and changing streets to my name, and moving stuff with my brain!

Had a dream last night that I thought it was a good way to have fun to shoot people out of a car window and ended up doing so. :scared: That actually scares me that I had that dream.

Also had a dream that the college timetable had been extended to 9.45pm.

Ha! Was it lucid?

Nope.

That makes it even worse.

:odd: That is strange. I once had a dream that my little brother fell off the Grand Canyon and I jumped off the cliff with him. I also had a night-terror years ago... Creepy... Anyways, I should've added a girlfriend into that lucid dream... However, it was a more of mild lucid dream, but I could've still added a chick in there.

I had a dream where I crashed my mom's car. Not totaled but skid off into the grass hitting some trees. And the car had two steering wheels on each side and I wanted to drive so she did something which made it where I would be turning the wheel but she still controlled the pedals. So I guess it would've been her fault since she took a corner WAY to fast and slid sideways across some grass and into a tree.

Last night, I had a dream that I owned a brand new, red NA Miata. It was an automatic though. :grumpy:

But this dream baffled me quite a bit, as I haven't been thinking about Miatas recently.

It was probably in the back of your mind.

I had a weird dream recently in which I was on my school bus, and my bus driver went crazy, overtaking everything and going stupidly fast, before crashing.

Strangely, this morning my bus hit a car...
