These are the dreams I can still remember clearly.

“Hot Lava”

I was playing the "Don't touch the floor it's hot lava" game climbing all the furniture. Then I spot this black bunny. It then hid under the couch cushions so I decided to pull the cushions off. I see the rabbit with glowing red eyes standing on a rock platform surrounded by lava. I decided to then grab a shotgun and shoot at it, it wouldn't die.

“Revenge”

My dad and I were driving around in a ghetto neighborhood blasting some 50 Cent rap music. Then some thug gangsta decided to shoot at us, one of the bullets hit my dad. I then took control of the wheel while still moving and managed to switch seats and race my dad to the hospital with cops chasing after us. Got dad to the hospital, they managed to save him. Next day I spotted the thugs walking down the street, I decided to run them over repeatedly.

“Road Rage”

Mom and I were going to drive on the highway, mom is driving. Then a mom of a friend who I actually knew when I was little was raging at us in an SUV and ramming our car. My mom swerved and broke through the guardrails and we flew off a 150 foot cliff into a deep river. My mom couldn't swim and I can barely swim. I reached for my mom's hand in the water, managed to get a hold of her, then swam to the surface for dear life. We both managed to get out.

“Stunt Man”

I had this gas powered RC car and decided to ride it like a skateboard. Going really fast I was jumping off dirt ramps and high skateboard half pipes, like as if it was an X-Games event. I was doing tricks and stuff, but I jumped too high off a ramp and fell, breaking my right arm again for the 3rd time. Then I said to myself "ok, not doing it again, not doing it again!" Then I tried to snap it back into place. (I then woke up at 3am and I actually felt my arm to check if it was broken or not.)

“The High Life”

Had a dream I was living with a group of people who I have actually talked to online. There was large mansion house where we all lived under. Then in my room there was a secret passage way the lead to an elevator that sent you down into a massive garage full of cars that I dream of, plus my real life friends lived in the garage too. It was a multi-floor garage. There were rooms for people to sleep and live in, plus 7 or 8 floors where a lot of cars can be parked. There was also a car elevator, gym, lounge area, kitchen, loft, etc. I mostly stayed in the garage and people who I talked to online really never knew this garage existed, they mostly stayed in the mansion. Then as they see me up out in front of the mansion where the wall was glass, they see me in these high end luxury exotic cars. (There is A LOT more to this, but I'd be writing a book.)

“The wrong Deal”

I was holding a quart of white paint in my hand at night in a parking lot. Then some cop decided to put a full clip on me thinking I was dealing drugs. Then out of nowhere 50 cent appeared and I told him this is my 4th time being shot at. He then proceeded to play "G-Unit - G'D Up".

I limp back home, as I do some gangsta thugs decide to follow me. One had a pocket knife, the other a large hunting knife. The dude with the hunting knife stabs me in the back. I manage to pull it out, then use the knife on him. I stabbed him in the heart, pulled the knife out and slit his throat and body. Then I killed the dude easy with the pocket knife.

Managed to get home, call the ambulance because I was still leakin', then I woke up.

I had a horrible nightmare... :nervous:

It was basically about a GTP "gala", where all the 2012 awards were announced with all the most active members showing up in nice penguin suits (of course I already wear one all the time). We had a really good time and I was hopeful of winning a couple of awards that weren't related to Charles Darwin in any way, due to my... err, efforts on the racing series for well over a year. So, it became announcement time and to my shock...

...akmuq was voted as the overall best user of the year.

My heart broke.

 :sly:

To continue my crazy weird dreams, I forgot to mention a dream where my sister was in charge of my local grocery store chain and I was laying down on a conveyor belt eating raw fettuccine. There was more to it but I forgot about those parts, my most memorable dream by far.

But last night's dream was quite the scary one. It started with being in some sort of post-apocalyptic town, followed by me looking at a nuclear explosion some distance from me. Very shortly afterwards, some military troops had engaged in combat against an unknown enemy. People kept claiming that it was the Terminator, but I didn't know for sure and I heavily doubt that. I had to take cover in a building nearby where there was a couch and a bed and my father was there. Unfortunately, as I was going to lay down on the couch, there was something under the blanket on it (and on the bed, too), my father saying that they were the dead bodies of soldiers that were KIA :scared:.

Eventually, I fled to some kind of suburb with Christmas decorations. I went inside one of the houses and apparently it belonged to one of my relatives. The next thing I know, I'm in a GameStop asking my mother to buy an MS Points card for Xbox 360 (even though I don't have one), and I could see the destroyed town in the distance while looking out of a window. We leave the store and the dream ends.

I am really hoping that the trend of my dreams being a "sign" ends. The thought of the world being destroyed by a massive war... no. :nervous:

I have had very similar dreams. They are disturbing but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I tend to know it's a dream all the time, rarely do I have dreams where I don't think I'm dreaming.

I found this comment funny comparative to my own experiences.

Lately, I have been having dreams of acquaintances (usually stunning women) of mine. Usually waking up thinking that whatever happened in my dream really happened. And its horrible because generally I imagine slightly drunken nights where I choose not to hold my tongue in front of these people I am not super close with. Really awkward situations play out and it takes me the majority of the morning to piece together the timelines and realize it was just a dream. Sometimes I am never really sure if it was a dream or it was real so I nonchalantly ask my buddies some ninja questions to determine the truth.

On another note, I have had one very significant lucid dream.

I was probably like 14 years old give or take a year or two. It started out with some type of reality check, Like I sliced my arm and it healed right away (I had clues before this leading me to believe I was in a dream)

I don't remember the whole thing.. But I remember somehow I was talking it up with something like this, except she was a burnett in a blue bikini.

Now remember I was around 14 years old, so we all know where this was going.

Literally as soon as I was about to um... "finish up" I guess we could call it.

My god damn mother wakes me up for no reason at all.. And that was the first and last significant lucid dream I ever had. That was over 10 years ago.

Talk about a face palm.

Here's a story fresh from the brain. It takes place in a school built awfully similar to my high school. It's Friday, it's 3pm, classes are done and I'm about to head to the mahjong club like I usually do every Friday. I'm currently in some English class because I'm situated in the north side ofthe school, a friend and I stayed behind to video record something for a project - I think it was some little RC toy on the desk between us - while everyone had already left. Guy's white, Russian, and for some reason he was feeling down. I was thinking maybe I should bring him to the mahjong club and teach him how to play. Maybe that'll cheer him up, so I asked him and he says he already has plans, and so I journey to the other side of the building on my own. As I pass by the foyer, there was a gathering of students who all looked distressed.

The place stunk, I hear a few people go "What's that smell?!" and as I kept moving south towards the science classrooms, someone comes running out the corner "Run, everyone! Someone let a stunk go loose!!!" Everyone panics. I keep walking since the classroom the mahjong club takes place at is across one of the science rooms. I'm at the last hallway I need to reach before my destination and the skunk shows up at the end of the hallway.

Dream Transformation takes place.

That classroom no longer exists, and now I find myself challenging the skunk, by running towards it thinking it won't be able to spray me if I ran past it fast enough. I decided to do so because the closest doors were behind him. I bolt past him hearing a spraying sound without the feeling of wet jeans. I must've dodged him! So I reach for the doors when suddenly...

Dream Transformation takes place.

I'm now in the same stairwell except I've now apparently been on the second floor this whole time! There were no door, only the stairs to go down to the main floor! I had no time to think, I leap from the top of the staircase to the mid floor - that's a good 3 or 4 meter descent. Landed that without injuries, turn around and do the other half. Just before I jumped the skunk is atop the staircase and it shoots a load just barely misses my head as I'm in the air. I break through the doors now. Worried it might've got my hair, I grabbed some snow off the ground and rub it in hoping it'll stall the odour.

It was like an action game, because just as I escaped the skunk, there's now a polar bear cub targetting me on the parking lot. The cub shouts and begins coming after me. I run west, climb up on one of the dumpsters which had a lid and like that I was going to play the waiting game in hopes he would lose interest. As luck would have it, the cub leaves. While I was lying on the bin, on the field were a mass of kids playing soccer. I thought "Those kids have been out here the whole time, so why didn't the bear going affer them in the first place?"

Hah, dream transformation happens one last time. The bear becomes one of those annoying kids who jump into any recreation groups thinking they'll be accepted. So the goalie is going to send off the ball to midfield and this brat jumps in trying to block him from kicking the ball.

Dream ends, I wake up and it's 8:56.

I had a weird dream once. It was a while ago, probably four years. Yeah... Anyway, it was about Transformers. For some reason, I was an Autobot who could transform into this sweet Audi R8*. And then we went into battle against the Decepticons and for some reason all of our guns were loaded with potatoes. I think I may have forgotten or changed a few details, but still... Pretty weird.
*Probably because at this time I had seen a couple of R8s at an Audi dealer and got to sit in one. Next thing you know, it's 2009 and Sideways makes his appearance in Revenge Of The Fallen as an Audi R8. O_O

Theres a system of belief that says our dreaming self becomes our normal self
when we die; in other words when we are dreaming then thats the environment we are literally (not just symbolically) inhabiting, and we simultaneously have our earth/mammal/waking self we arise to. When we die we obviously just remain in that state we now think of as dreaming, but to our astonishment it is/was more real than we ever gave it credit for.

What we call dreaming is in fact an entirely objective, or real, sphere of activity in its own right. There are rules there for those that need rules. There is authority for those that need authority. There is chaos, honesty, friends, family.. you name it. Its not even
spiritual
. It just is. The so-called afterlife is in fact no more spiritual than our dreams are, to us right now. Dreaming, as a threshold our consciousness passes into and out of, is not just a reality bigger than we imagine; its a reality bigger than we can imagine.

...anyways, that was my dream. Hope it wasnt too long or boring for you.

My dream last night featured me at my first drum line show, and I messed up really bad and was cut from the bass line. I've heard that dreams can sometimes be a precursor to the future, so I hope it isn't as my first drum line show ever is next Saturday.

Interesting. Why does the phrase "If you do not drink of the stream of life, you shall surely die?" come to mind? You should expand on this. :)

My dreams have been pissing me off lately. It always sucks when things happen throughout your day that are annoying/angering/depressing, so-on, then you end up dreaming about them that night. Seriously, why can't I dream about awesome things that happen instead? Reminds me of that Type O Negative song Stay Out Of My Dreams.

For the past 3 nights, I've been having an extremely odd dream that I was taking part in a fictionalized film of my life, where I play myself and Jeff Goldblum plays my father. And Michael V. Gazzo (from Godfather Part II, who has been dead for 8 years now) plays the guy my father owes money too, for some reason I never am asleep long enough to ascertain. And there are gunfights and car chases.

It's... really trippy each time.

Recurring dreams are taken to be usually subconscious prompts about your life - usually some 'stuck point'. Toronado, you have to has ask yourself: What does Jeff Goldblum symbolise? And the connection to your father? Is it the Goldblum from The Fly or Jurassic Park? What is symbolically owing (?) from your father - and to whom? Is this some message that your father needs, and that can be only told him by you?

More dreaming is needed - and an open mind before sleeping while focusing on the images from the dream previously before falling asleep. Ask yourself these questions as you fall asleep.

Lucid dreaming doesn't really have any messages, apart from the fact that there is a dream state we can control. Most times it is flying - as soon as one learns to fly in a state of lucid dreaming, one usually flies in almost every lucid dream. As soon as one is aware that they are in the dream-control state, there is an urge to rise into the air and view the landscape, as well as learn how to control this type of 'thought-flight'.
You may meet other humans, and even animals, but you cannot control them. Lucid sex is not something I think possible, though I may be wrong - there may be those who find consenting partners in the lucid dreamscape.
However - regular, uncontrolled dreams that are experienced (or remembered) after waking are usually messages from the subconscious, though no doubt sometimes spurred by the conscience of the person.

Had a dream that I got a car that was like a combination between a Dodge Challenger and a Dart. I got to drive it a bit in my dream and it was a stick shift. I also remember texting my friend in the dream, and the response was frightening realistic to what he would say. Also, it was night time, raining, and the traffic lights weren't working because the power went out.

A lot of my dreams lately have included bird eggs being broken with the underdeveloped bird bodies everywhere and birds dying.

*bangs head against desk*

One of those... erotic man dreams which lead to waking up in a very good mood, except involved was somebody I've been trying to forget and I talk in my sleep. My wife is now wondering who Ef is and has questioned me about it this morning. :grumpy:

*returns to banging head against desk*

I'm sorry but my conscious self cannot be held responsible for whether or not my subconscious decides to play the field.

I've been trying to have lucid dreams recently, but had no luck. Probably tried not hard enough. But then...

Two weeks ago, I fell asleep on a Physical Chemistry (PC) lecture. In the dream, I was seeing myself writing down PC formulas and equations (like Hess's law or Clausius–Clapeyron relation), then I took a look on a copybook I was writing on, then - back on a sheet I was writing down from. And the formulas became different from what I've seen before. I found out that I'm sleeping, and rejoiced "Wow! A lucid dream!", then... woke up. :grumpy: Got too glad of the fact.

Yesterday, I was sleeping in a location different from my home (at my friend's place). When I just fell asleep, I entered a lucid dream condition, and tried to handle it, imagine something nice... But it turned out pretty hard. However, I've managed to see myself driving a Japanese right-hand drive car on a gravel road. I think its interior looked like an R32 Skyline. But unfortunately, this wasn't very long, I fell asleep pretty soon then and didn't remember anything else.
BTW, I was a bit drunk in that day. Probably alcohol has an effect :D

I don't lucid dream. I frequently am aware that my surroundings are not real, and are just a dream, but I don't develop on it and do what I want.

This morning, I quite possibly had the best dream I've ever had.

Dreamt it was Survivor Series 1997 and I was in a triple threat, two out of three falls match with Mick Foley and The Rock. Foley, as McMahon's stooge, was supposed to win but lost both falls to The Rock. McMahon came out and confronted him, and Foley said he only lost one fall; one as Mankind, the second as Dude Love. Then he gave him a double arm DDT.

Awe. Some.

Again not a lucid dream, but I had one last night that might just be another one of my "prophetic" dreams, albeit a short one.

There was more to the dream, though all I can remember was that I was browsing on GTP's
"NASCAR 2013 Thread" and seeing everyone rage that Jimmie Johnson won... again, and there were plenty of posts so I'd assume that page was a few days old. The "prophetic" part? I'm heading to Dover on Sunday for the Sprint Cup race. Dover is one of Johnson's best tracks.

Last night I had a dream and I notices something recurring in my dreams. It's not a person, or an idea or anything like that. But I noticed that in dreams the location will slowly evolve while I'm there. This was especially relevant know my dream last night. I started out in some kind of small garden like area, probably a park, with any cement walkways, there may have been a pool, I'm not quite sure. But there was a building next to it that I went inside. When I went back to the park or whatever it was, all of a sudden I was at the top of an extremely tall building, but the top of the building was just like the park. Eventually it got darker, and my surroundings changed to a dark elevator with a dim incandescent light in it. I really don't understand how my surroundings just gradually changed. Does this happen to anyone else?

Damn, some ruffians stole my wife while I was trying to order in a McDonald's. The lights were really dim and I was complaining about my order when she was snatched. Then I went looking for her, got brawling with some punks, found a mobile phone with a [paper] phone book built in and then woke up in a foul mood.

Bizarre.

You still had your Mc Muffin right?

Once I woke up, yeah. In the dream they couldn't find the menu and I don't know how to say it in Chinese.

I absolutly cant Lucid Dream. How hard i try... Only one i ever got was when i was little, and it was something of World War 2 or something.. This is depressing.

You'll stop trying, forget about it, and then months later you'll have lucid dreams all the time.
