The Nascar seasonal is US only? I don't get these regional seasonals...

I not really sure man, to be honest, I don't think the Europeans really cared about NASCAR, can't say I blame them either... The only good thing about that seasonal was the high XP and cash, got me to level 38 A Spec

I, an american, have gotten into the SLS event. It's not europe exclusive:D
#138 on the board:D
Also, to spark controversy:

THis was DC "live" on the track. In the game, there's cones where he just cut:grumpy:

I think on the same lap he cut the painted lines before the follow through as well.

Just turned on my PS3 after the maintenance and the top gear seasonal finally appeared, nice one, even if it is a day late...

Little did the world know but the final six results were announced and done about 30-40 minutes before they were shown "Live". Whilst the guy doing all the talking was trying to console all of us and talk us out of throwing the people who didnt make the final off the top level of MB world I am very sure we all had a good idea of who was through as there had been talk between people of rumoured times. I was about a second and a half off and for this i am blaming the stupid rules enforced in the challenge and also the fact my tires MUST have been over inflated. The real reason is clearly that i only put in about 90 minutes of practice and at home was getting a 1:16.8 which i think might have had me on the edge of the final six but on the day i simply couldnt do it. I am really not fast enough compared to some. There are some real animals out there. A fair bit of the recording was done before it was shown "live" and the only bit that was infact live was the final race. Why the "celebrities" turned up i really dont know. They didnt really feature and the only ones people might have recognised were Reggie Yates from radio 1 and Polly-anna from the gadget show. I didnt have a clue who she was as I dont watch it.
For the Final race i stood firmly behind alfabob and was watching his times like a hawk. For the first few laps he WAS infront by a second or so an was even beating the times DC was setting. You have no idea how much i wanted this guy to win. I had spent most my time with him and George (i think that was his name. I am terrible with names) and he is a really sound guy. If he had one i think he would have deserved it. Alas he came second after Jason. I was a little stand offish about Jason and his mate which was possibly to do with his Massive mate coming up to me and calling me the C word and claiming he was going to come and use my PS3 that i had brought with me. I simply said he wasnt in one way or another and that was it. Besides, I didnt get the PS3 working on the hotel TV until the morning we were signing out due to it being a stupid hotel remote and only giving very limited options.
We all know how it ended and despite me not really speaking to him whilst i was there i went over and shook Jason's hand as lets face it, the laps he put in were blisteringly fast. Incase anybody wants to try and beat his 1:16.868 time he was driving on comfort softs and if you cut any corners add on 5 seconds and if you cut any white lines add on 5 seconds. It might not sound like much but it makes the TGTT a bloody hard track to drive fast.

And thats a wrap for this episode of the DC challenge. There will be one more episode then it will be complete. Anybody wanting to see the pictures i took of the day are more than welcome.

I think EDDSKILL has the fastest time in the world so far with 1:14.225

Simply, an amazing time. There isn't anybody in the American TT or Asian TT who can compete so far, with number one times in the low 1:15 respectively, but Japan with Elder, yam23 and another guy have times around 1:14.3

Of course, I should be a BIG threat with 1:16.332, give me another 10 mins, I'm sure I'll grap top spot :dunce:

Why can we cut one of the corners so much? Almost every corner bar one will penalize you if you cut it but this one corner can be completely cut shaving seconds off your time.

Until I watched the top time I had no idea........... Stupid.
