i thought, until yesterday, that when it comes to techno+metal, fear factory is the best and the hardest.
after last night, it is still the best, but as for the hardest? i got an old cd by a band called 'berzerker' - and this music destroys. simple.
i used to think that black metal is very extreme. well, nothing can come close to the berzerker. its like a fusion of death [florida style, like deicide, or broken hope] and hardcore techno 250bpm or so. DO NOT listen on full volume.

Berzerker's songs are so short, but I like them better that way. With so much energy, you wouldn't want a 6 minute song, it would seem to get repetitive after a bit.

Anyone checked out Enforsaken? Great American melodeath band. It's a shame they've only released 1 album so far (The Forever Endeavour) though.

They're guitarist is awesome. Really awesome. 👍

I just (when I say just, I mean a few days ago) saw Cephalic Carnage at my local music bar. They utterly farking rocked. By far the most brutal and energenic band I've ever seen. They put so much effort in to what they do. So yes, if you have a chance to see em, go, seriously.

i love CRADLE of FILTH. i also like System of a Down , disturbed, old metallica, dimmu borgir, static-x, Rammstein, megadeth, slayer, soulfly, mudvayne... taproot isnt so bad...

old drowning pool was good but the new stuff isnt. same with mushroomhead.

I agree... Everyone has their own tastes... I was merely voiving mine... As I stated, I'm not really into most black metal... However, COF rub me the wrong way, more than most...

I'm sure their lyrics are fine, but it can't cover up for that horrid singing... Just my opinion...

i have heard Satyricon. they arent bad. i have heard Mastodon but am not familer with them.
