The best part about being in this car: you don't have to look at it.
Ahem...Rocket Bunny...ahem. Liberty Walk only does high-end cars and exotics.I can see an LB WALK ND in no time.
The NB coupe. My understanding was that the car was a test to see if the market for a Miata coupe was there. Are you referring to the PRHT, or the NB coupe? If the latter, then that was only ever meant to be a limited-run vehicle and isn't representative of the popularity of a proper coupe.
And if you meant the former, then I'm not sure that's representative either. Partly because it's not a proper coupe, and partly because I believe it actually did pretty well in terms of sales. Here in the UK certainly.
I like it because of what it is...however, walking out to my NC this morning before my commute to work I thought to myself, "Nope, not as cool."
I really need to see it in person. I love the interior. I'm not crazy, however, about the front or rear. There is too much car above the headlights, if that makes sense. Also REALLY not a fan of the 4 lugs...that eliminates a lot of big rubber.
I did this quick photoshop, pop up lights

Seriously though, that's where the lights should be located. Further up.
Can't answer that but I doubt it. No specs are given and the cars shown off weren't even close to final production spec. Look at the US reveal car. It has a manual shifter yet interior parts are from an automatic from what I saw. The gauge cluster shows M mode with a 3-4 shift suggestion. There's a SPORT button next to the shifter as well. Can someone please do a ND US-EU-JP comparison... is there even a difference ?
Now I could do dat dere.
Yeah it was confirmed the sport button was for the automatic car. Can't answer that but I doubt it. No specs are given and the cars shown off weren't even close to final production spec. Nah, I believe it was a little more skunkworks than that. They'd half-heartedly planned a coupe for years and just built a limited run of them. I don't think they had a big unsold stock of them so I can only assume it was a relative success, but if they really wanted to run some sort of market test I'd have thought they'd run it in the U.S. where the market for such a thing would be a lot bigger. The NB coupe.
