The next-gen MX-5 Miata thread

If that yellow comes to the USA, I might be motivated to find a job that would actually pay me enough to buy one of these.
I'm just going to wait a few years and get a used one. Assuming I would still have the opportunity to do so.

I could get a cheap secondary truck actually...

That's probably the wrapped one I showed you not long ago.

If that's the oil filter then that has to be the best location I've ever seen on a car.

The filter on my gf's 2013 Hyundai Accent is the best. It's much further towards the nose than on this ND. I don't need a jack or anything. I get on the ground in front of the car, loosen 2 screws from a plastic tray, put my filter wrench around it to break it loose and spin it right off.

I know on my Taurus you risk melting the skin and flesh off of your wrist if you touch the front exhaust manifold, and then risk dropping it all over it and starting a fire...

I officially have an appointment to order my ND on the 12th of September. Dealer insists on finding me one local but I'm pretty firm on ordering one and having it built. Mainly because I have a few negative things on my credit that need to be taken care of first and I have someone working on that as we speak. Hopefully 3 months is enough time to get things squared away.

I'm contemplating the Ceramic White GT that no one wants. People don't like the color- which, is perfect for me. The next 1.5 base won't be here until November.

Ah, I was expecting a normal bolt-like plug.

Subarus have those as well. Something I didn't like when servicing them.

I actually prefer white cars versus a lot of other options they have. Shows how clean you keep them..

My ram 2500 (99) has it as well. The best thing about that pan is the bolt is dead smack in the middle.

Umm, it's the opposite. White cars don't look nearly as dirty as dark cars.

A triple black 1.5 GT arrived today and it looks sinister. If I were still down in Melbourne, that would be the color for me. Not here in sunny(not today) New South Wales, though.

I rode my bicycle over to the local Mazda dealer and finally saw them in person for the first time. The red was infinitely more attractive than the white, but pictures really don't do this car justice for some reason. You have to experience it up close and personal. Oh, and both were automatic :ill::yuck:
