In your opinion, which country makes the best looking cars?

The Chevette has the reputation of Voldemort with my family. Despite it leaving our family 25 years ago, it's the reason my mother still won't buy a brand new car. Her and my dad spec'd it from the dealer, and it was problems from the start. One particularly funny time (in hindsight) was a slow-responding turkey vulture utterly demolishing the grille and windshield, while also putting a serious dent in the roof, on a backroad. That bird did hundreds of dollars of damage, but really, it couldn't look much worse (we had one just like this):

Anywho, on a much nicer note, given the thread title, any excuse to share more Comète goodness:

These remind me of the Lancia Appia GTZ, with a body that shallows as it moves to the rear and a similar profile overall. I can't help but notice the Bustleback Seville in the background as well.

My dad in an ill concieved decision bought a Pontiac 1000 new in 1985. It started falling apart immediately almost. At the time he lived in Queens. It probably was perfect to own in NYC at the time. But with Mom in Georgia driving a BMW 325, and Dad coming to see us in the Chevette, my childhood was weird ok lol...

I'm pretty sure Chevettes were rusting as soon as they left the factory to be shipped to dealers.
Didn't Pontiac use a bunch of scrap parts from cars like the Chevette to make the Fiero back in the day?

The front suspension was a version of the one out of Chevette with a couple inches wider track, but the Chevette had a double wishbone setup with anti-rollbars in the front so it wasn't anything atrocious. The much bigger problem was the rear suspension, and the drivetrain in general, was just a Cavalier strut setup spun around 180°. They even left the tie rods on.

I've seen a couple European Fords posted, so why not?

Directly from the OP..

...any kind of American car...

I don't think that would make sense. It's liek this for example "Let's post Japanese cars! And instead you share Aussie ones. I don't think it works like that, friend.

Now, let's share something with more power:
latest

The Saleen S7 is easily one of my favourite high-speed cars out there.

They even made an electric Chevette, the 1977 Chevrolet Electrovette Concept.

Pontiac got a rebadged Chevette, called the Acadian.

Hate to say it, but those Ford's you posted would be considered as muscle cars.
Not to those who consider muscle cars to be larger platforms, where the Falcon lent its platform to the Mustang--a pony car (accompanied by the likes of Camaro/Firebird, 'Cuda/Challenger, and Javelin).

The early Falcons were not muscle cars. Yes, they have been modded often by people to have muscle car characteristics, but they weren't produced as muscle cars.
