I'm not going to stick a finger in your birthday cake here.. oh who am I kidding, yes I am. This petition is the most pointless thing ever. Even if you got 1000 people to sign it, it's not going to matter to PD. You're gonna need more like 50k people's signatures, at least. There's no amount of signature gathering you're going to do on this forum or combined with any other forum in history that will make a modicum of difference.
I don't see why some of you have no faith in this petition and if you not gonna sign it, then please just don't post. I didn't make it for negative comments like this so I really don't need them.

Quite frankly, I'd rather Polyphony stop wasting their time developing demos, then having to translate demos because people can't just wait a couple more months, which in turn (shock of all shocks) delays development of the finished product! Which, also surpsingly, is something people complain about a lot as well, when their precious finished product is pushed back.

And I don't feel like shelling out money for a game that will have zero replay value once the real thing comes out, because this thing is still nothing more then a demo. And I already plan to get the game (most likely), so I can wait, save money, and still get the real thing!

Some people just seem to want everything their way. Well getting things your way gets in the way of us getting the main thing we all want: Gran Turismo 5.

I prefer to play the demos in Best Buy, then buy the real game to play at home.

What does this have to do with the petition? Oh wait, it's another demo jab. I believe that is a conversation going on in the GT5:P thread.

As of this post we are up to 69!

I want to sign it but not sure how to get my name on that list, I guess it is just by posting here?
Thats all you've got to do and you on:)

Signed. I bought a PS3 'knowing' GT5:P was coming out this year, only to hear it may not come out in NA. Why are there previews of GT5:P on the NA PSN store if it's not slated for NA release?

Gran Turismo 5 is coming to America.

This petition is for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, the demo version of Gran Turismo 5.

As of this post, we are now up to 75! Keep the support coming!

Signed; while I'll gladly wait (oh, what choice do I have?) for the full GT5, I'd certainly like to enjoy GT5:P for a bit to get a feel for what the next installment will be like.

Signed.

Personally I can't imagine not releasing an NTSC version. Isn't that what they use in Japan? Apart from shamelessly attempting to throttle PS3 sales right before the all important Christmas shopping season what reason could they have for not releasing?

I for one have no interest in the PS3 until GT5 (Prologue or otherwise) and I'm sure other people are in the same boat. The minute it's available I'll buy one, and probably a Sony XBR LCD to go with it. We could be witnessing history here - not bringing GT-5 to the US could be right up there with "We think the world market for computers is 7" (IBM - 50s) and "No home user will ever need more than 640KB of memory" (Bill Gates).

Is GT5:P like, a sample or will they sell it like the actual game for $50-$60 bucks? :nervous:
If it is like GT4:P it will be about half the price of a full game, but no one knows for sure.

I thought I'd give you guys another incentive:

Daytona confirmed to be a GT5 Prologue track, demo is coming out October 20th in Japan.

Looks like I no longer need to play a Nascar game to drive at Daytona.

Go ahead and put my name down. 👍
If PD doesn't release GT5P here in the U.S.A. I will be seriously disappointed (enough so to buy a 360 and enjoy it for atleast the time between the purchase and GT5's release).

I have a hard time believing PD would do that to America and Canada but at the same time I remember them doing it with GT4 so I can't really predict what will happen.

Here's to hoping for the best!
