i remember playing vice city one day and thinking about the only thing they could do to make VC better is to somehow make it multiplayer.. now i realise that i was pretty much dead wrong.. 👍 to rockstar
It would work if they gave you a split screen and you could do races or chase around and try to wreck your opponents car.

Yeah, I was hoping there would be a "See how many times you can kill eachother" type mode to play with, would have been a fair bit of fun, as would street racing.

Two player is pretty fun. I was playing with my brother the other day and we had a good time. I jumped into the Dodo, while he jumped on top of it and it was kind of funny when he fell off at 400 feet in the air! :dopey:

That's what me and Jimmy did, but with the private jet. Let me just say that when I turned he get snapped, severely.

They didn't in my VC. I could stand on top of the Maverick as though the blades were 1 big invisible circle. IMO that sux0red.

EDIT: Let me rephrase my question. Do the helicopter blades slice you up if you land on the top of them?

hmm i never think i tried to harm myself with the blades. but i remember slicing up pedestrians with the rc helicopter and big ones while flying

I just noticed something about San Andreas the other day.

I was speeding along, on the water, in a hovercraft and suddenly realised that you don't get the water droplets on your screen anymore! Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I loved those in Vice City!

Was there anything better to vent your anger than to gently nudge someone with your chainsaw and see it splatter on the screen?!

Yeah same, I noticed it but didn't make a fuss about it.

I only noticed this after playing the game intensivly for almost a month. I'm sure that there are people who didn't observe this yet, so whats wrong with pointing it out?

I never said there was anything wrong with pointing it out, I just said I didn't make a big fuss about it.

It's not big, but I still liked it in Vice City. Oh well, there's more than enough in San Andreas to worry about specs on the screen.

Has anyone found the secret island? Apparently, It gets mentioned in one of the radio stations.. Don't know which but..

If it's Carcer City, then it's not a secret island.

On Carcer City, who thinks that could be a possible name for the City in GTA 4, or if they re-do Liberty City, the Add-On city could possibly be Carcer City. Never clicked in my head, but it's been mentioned in all 3 games I believe. At least in San Andreas and GTA 3.

If memory serves me right, Manhunt (the gory game that got banned in that many countries it isn't funny and was ironically, made by Rockstar) was based in Carcer City...

I've heard that it is somehow possible to get to St. Marks outside of the mission "St. Marks Bistro", I would have thought R* would have hidden it so it was impossible to access, but I've heard otherwise.

Manhunt is SA's shooting system. PSM magazine said this in the preview.:) Am I correct? I've never played Manhunt.

I heard a rumour that Liberty City is unlocked when you get 100%, but considering all the **** that's been spread around the Internet about the game, I don't believe anything until I see it myself or get it from a reliable source.

As great as that would be, I've read about people using GS2 codes to get to "Liberty City" and its basically an abandoned shell, just the scenery of LC that you see in a mission.

Unless R* hid the real thing elsewhere on the map, I can't see it happening.

But when the PC version comes out, who knows?

I couldn't agree moer. I keep hearing all of these rumours of "secret cities" and "ghost towns". The only Ghost Towns I know of are in the Desert.

It would be extra awesome to have Liberty City, but the only place there that has been modelled is inside Saint Marks Bistro.
