It would be extra awesome to have Liberty City, but the only place there that has been modelled is inside Saint Marks Bistro.

They also modelled the hill in St. Marks that leads to the Bistro. There's a cutscene of CJ driving to the Bistro. Looks like they just added snow to the GTA3 model.

Him driving to it doesn't mean it's a model. It could be completely hollow, but just a texture. I'm guessing they would have only done the texture to save space on the disc.

It would still be a model, it just wouldn't have any collision detection. A texture is just a flat picture, they have to be mapped onto a 3d model to give you a 3d object. But as you said, it's probably not a solid object, just like Ghost Town in GTA III.

well i can definelty say Liberty City is not unlocked when you get 100% and ive only seen it in that cutscene and in GTA3 (obviously)

There's a mod called "GTA: Liberty City" for Vice City. I heard about it at GTAForums.com Who's to say the same clever ****ers won't create both a Vice City and Liberty City mod for San Andreas when it comes out for PC?

Yeah. But I also said Add-On because I meant that they may just put Liberty City into the game, but make it so it's accessible by flight. Not changing the whole thing from San Andreas into Liberty City.

Also, I kept up with the Mods in Vice City and GTA 3. They also had a San Andreas mod for both games, well before San Andreas was even confirmed to be the next game, and well before people even thought about the next game. My favourite was the Real Mod for GTA 3. Replaced all of the stores to real-life stores, replaced the construction site in Staunton Island with the Mall that was pictured on the sign there, etc. It was great. Too bad I don't have a good enough Computer to handle it.

Although I can't see a mall that tall. BTW, did it have the mod on both sides of the road?

??? How did that work? The "GTA: Liberty City" mod creators were actually able to take the Liberty City data from the GTA III game and dump it into Vice City so you could drive, ride and fly around the real Liberty City using the Vice City vehicles. But what did the San Andreas mod do? Was it just a made up city called San Andreas put into Vice City or GTA III?

The San Andreas mod was just they're attempt at San Andreas. Funnily enough, they had a Kombi and a couple of other cars from San Andreas. Also, for the Liberty City Mod for Vice City, I didn't download it, but I would guess that they would delete the whole Vice City model, and replace it with the Liberty City model, then change a fair bit of coding or something.

I don't know. Check for them all here.

im sure most of u here have either completed the game or just farting around blowing stuff up like me but how did u complete vigilante mode ive used everything except the apache chopper right now im content with the police bike i got 2 lvl 10 but i die some way or another .
 
Best to ask in the General Discussion Thread, for 2 reasons:

1. A lot of people don't come to this thread.
2. This thread is mostly off-topic non-GTA stuff.

As for your question, everyone has used the Hunter (Apache Chopper). I haven't completed it in San Andreas, but I did in Vice City, and they're fairly similar. I recommend the Hunter.

we're getting a new tv so i can see SA better 👍 right now the biggest tv we have is a 19"

and of course a Merry Christmas to everyone :)
