Nice! How much are they? I'd like to get some new ones, mine are a bit narrow and awkward to walk in.

I'll open a room at 3pm EDT today for anyone that's available to race. 👍

If the race will be today, it's going to start at 3.30pm EDT, right?

But we need more racers for tonite! :) I think my body and my MR-S is ready ;D

the shoes are 90$ at amazon.com
a bit odd , I just purchased nearly the same (without the#77)
for around 50€ .
If we aren't enough today we could probably figure something out for next week and turn this one into an open practise ?

Yes we had some good battles r34love, don't worry about the bumps:)

Thanks John. I appreciate the extra understanding. I come from the rubbins' racin' school of hard knocks, but I try to be as clean as possible. As I get more comfortable with the car, it will definitely happen less. But I recognize your tolerance because I have been admonished before over that and it makes me feel extremely disrespected, because I apologize when I know I am wrong and freely admit any sloppiness that I am trying to reign in. I don't really need to be told to watch what I do on course. I am typically non-competitive for that reason until I am comfortable with the people that I am racing with because so many people are ready to label the new guy as dirty right away. But all new guys and gals (Danica) make mistakes early and it really helps when you can find people who are willing to overlook accidents in favor of competition. It's a real sore point for me and that's what makes your reaction special and extremely respectable. I would be on your team any day of the week sir and I tip my hat to you!

BTW, what is the time and speed for Suzuka, I can't find it in the posts.

2:12 and 144 mph/232 kph

Did some practice with @daddyo845 . The weak draft is really fun -- sure, the speed gain is rather absurd (almost 8mph on the straight if you're positioned right coming out of the Casio Triangle!) but it keeps things close and exciting. Really easy to get into the bumper of the guy ahead though, I misjudged a lot of braking points from carrying just a few extra mph into the corners. 👍 Should be good stuff!

Thank you sir. It is a rather exciting course!

You know I love Suzuka because its a wonderful and demanding course. These cars are suit this track extremely well and are a blast to drive here. Extra caution will need to be taken in order to avoid accidents as there are many tricky sections that are difficult to go through two wide. Whatever happens, I'm sure it will be great fun. @r34love, you are in luck, this group of guys I've been racing with for close to a year now (can't believe it's been that long already!) are really just great guys who all have one thing in common. They all have a love to race. They are extremely encouraging, polite, respectful, informative and helpful. They have been extremely fun to race with. They don't punish the new guy for mistakes and they welcome new members. To sum it all up, they have provided me with the best racing experiences of my life. (Sorry if I sound cliche right now but what I stated is the truth )

I think I've just about have my celica ready to go.

Thanks for your encouraging words and background on the league. Believe me, I have no regrets that I have made this move and think that I will not only grow as a racer by being here but grow as a person as well. (If that is still possible at my age). I am already richer for the experience.

Nice choice on the Celica as well. It's pretty sporty. You'll run up front if you can keep it pointed straight! See you tomorrow.

It certainly is an enriching experience and I gurantee you will enjoy every moment you spend on the track with us. :D

I'm not entirely sure we have racing tomorrow.

Does that mean we'll see you on track again soon? :P

Yeah, we'll go ahead and take tomorrow off too so we can keep the schedule straight. We'll start back at Suzuka Sunday. I might be around tomorrow night to test the next batch of cars, I'm thinking about some vintage RWD cars.

Yeah sorry about not showing up. I keep trying but school and other things happening outside of the virtual racing world prevent me from either showing up to an event or they prevent me from setting a car up on time. I really have been trying but sometimes there's no way around it. I really hope to race with you guys again soon as I really love racing with you guys

If you decide on testing, be sure to PM me or something, because I would be love to be a part of that testing. I've got a pretty good collection of classics and would have no problem buying any that needed to be tested as well. Otherwise I'll be there on Sunday. I'm updating my friend @suspension on PSN now as to how to set up his car to race with us.
