Thanks for the feedback đź‘Ť

I know that a different camera wouldn't make me a better photographer, but I would be able to do something, rather than the very limited and poor technology of this 5 year old camera I have.

Agreed. Having the right equipment opens alot of doors. I wouldn't expect Salvador Dali to be as legendary as he is if he were to only use Mario Paint.

Just some shots.

(Must note on this last one. I don't particularly care for the shot itself, I only liked the color of the flower)

And two other things on dA:

Just so everyone knows, over at Photo-Op we're trying to start up some photography competitions, so head over there and post your entires. Using the link in my sig would be the easiest way.

It was kind of toward Burnout, but ok. đź‘Ť
lol

Flowers are pretty much the only thing I can take pictures of right now. They're in our yard, and because my car doesn't work yet, even though I have my license, I'm not really able to go out and take pictures of junk.

Soon, though... Soooon.

I like that emad. The coloring is interesting. The stone almost looks like hit has a semi-transparent red gradiant on it, and the green is a vibrant green.

I have been up in Rocky Mountain National Park lately :sly:
Here is a silohette of some big horn sheep.

Here is a pic of seven bull elk together!

Interesting pictures everybody.

@jmx2222, I like the bark where the sun is hitting it.
@gt4_0109, don't get too close to the wild animals.

Very interesting. Is ImageShack having problems again?

I have been using them all day. The images I like to seem to be showing up fine. If you can't get them to work, you can make a photoblog at imageshack and link to the photoblog.

I like Canons.. They have a good camera for every price range.

For you, $150-$200, I'd recommend their new value camera, the A510. It can be had for about $175. While it's only 3.2MP, its a pretty darn good one. Check out the dpreview.com review. It's got plenty enough options to keep you busy, and it takes pretty darn good images. If you'd like something with a bit more resolution, check out the A520.

Personally I use a Canon PowerShot G6. While it's not $150-$200, I can say that it is a Canon and oh boy am I happy with it.

Out of curiosity, how many of you guys pre-arrange the objects you shoot, or pre-manipulate them in some way. For example, do you shoot fresh dew on leaves or spray them? Just curious on how you go about this sort of thing.

I try to go for the eau natural look, but in order to get something to look just right I might work some mischeif.

Also, is there anything particularly different about shooting skyscapes? I'm in awe of antihero's shot.
