Hey guys, I got that polarizing lens, it works great and makes such a big difference

here are some examples:
The pool without the lens, notice the reflection

Now with the lens notice you can see into the water now and the reflection is diminished

the sky without

the sky with, notice the darker color teh darkness can be adjusted by rotating the lens

now for the biggest diffrence

and with

Those look great skyline. I always have like polarizing lens'. I think that the picture of the pool looks better with the reflection, but all of the rest look better with the polarizing lens.

I noticed that it looked better, but these were just to show the effect of the lens :)

I just took this about an hour ago.. 20 minute time laps of the red-tide @ night.. it glows blue, its really cool, like watching a lightning storm..

These are a few pictures I took yesterday. (I'm new at photography - so these are basically my first artistic shots ever.)

With the following picture I tried to capture the texture of the remainders of a chopped down tree. Now, this wood is dead, which makes for beautiful cracks in the wood accenting the pattern.

Those are pretty cool, sn00pie! Too bad your DOF is too shallow in the first and last images. Other than that, they look nice. 👍

What are you talking about? subscription there as in premium membership here? No. I'm just a member.

I got some message from deviantART that I had a weeks subscription. If you look at my status it says this - deviantART Subscriber.

I guess that their subscription service could be taken as a premium service. If you click subscription service here - http://help.deviantart.com/ - you will see what subscription service I am talking about.

I got a one week complimentary subscription or something.

the advantage of premium is the lack of ads and the beta tools are quite useful. I can also use a bit of html in my journals and posts if I need to. They also let you download stuff to your cell phone through their site. It's not much, but I like their overall service and the price was good so I went for it.

@ snoopie, awesome stuff. Just work on the depth of field a bit.

@ Blackbird - I don't much like the center of the flower but the overall shot is really nice. I know it's tough to do, but try taking one that emphasizes on the oranges and yellows as well as the water drops by shooting in full 4mp mode and crop to just a few petals and the beads of water on them. It would make for a good abstract shot 👍

I always have my cameras at their highest MP. So that is taken at 4MP. I guess I can call my pictures a water droplet series since i've out of nowhere just started taking some. The beauty in them is just unlimited.

^^ right-o. Granted, by not shrinking them, the camera's image grain will be more apparent, but it should allow for some more interesting shots

cardude. You never post a picture on DA an its regular size. Noise will ruin the photo.

ty- you seem to be the only person who even saw it  .. as i said, its like watching a lightning storm in the distance.. cause you only see it just before it turns to white-wash.. once it turns to white-wash, its just a redish-brown..

antihero, your pictures are great, as always. I like the second one. I wish I had a good digital camera, other than this crappy 1.3mp camera that I do have. I know that a different camera wouldn't make me a better photographer, but I would be able to do something, rather than the very limited and poor technology of this 5 year old camera I have.
