Lovin' the atmosphere of that shot, the grain and tones give it such a dark feel. What was it shot on?

I have a Canon PowerShot A70 (3.2 MP), nothing too fancy. And thanks!

Love that shot of the white flowers, man. And the B&W shot is nice, too. The dark clouds(?) do a nice job of framing the shot. 👍

Went out onto the field at my halls of residence this afternoon as the sun was setting. Managed to get some nice shots:

Haven't had the camera out in a while . . . figured I'd snap off a few of the cats my friend has. The first one is Gizmo, mother of Gidget (below).

I really like the beach shots, some woodland shots coming from me soon, just need to get a bit of time to transfer them over to the PC and convert them from RAW.

Nice shots to start a new page. Moglet you really captured the the feeling of fall. Skyline I love that first shot of yours.

You should have my babies again. Yeah. Great stuff. 👍

oh, i see how it is. when your cave goes unexplored for quite some time who do you turn to.. well the gig is up. if you're that lonely go to your local doctor and get a physical, i'm not your booty call anymore.

Here are some shots I took earlier today, I know that I said I was taking woodland shots, but unfortunatly I deleted them without even realising till it was too late :(

Enjoy the shots & remember click them for bigger previews.

WALKIES
This image of my dog did have some noise wit hit being ISO 800, but I added some more for the real grainy look.

Lonley Flower
Quited liked this shot, but wanted to try something I little different, so opted for a coloured flower and B&W background, with Fake DOF.

Tick-Toc
Again I added some grain, but I think that I may have over done it, and I think that maybe this image needed to be blurred a bit.

There's something really odd about the dog's eyes. Are they different colours, or is it a flash effect?

I like the flower, but I'm quite weary of all the selective desaturation that's going on at the minute. Also, I would have take the green out from behind the petals.

I like the clock too, but I'm not sure about the PP. Did you dodge behind the clock? Or burn a vignette? Either way, it seems like the clock has a rather odd halo.

They're all good shots, and my criticisms are only minor!

Diditn use a flash for that shot, she has different coloured eyes, one is blue and the other is brown.

Yeh I copuld have taken the green out from the leaves, but it was quick job on a sucky PC.

Yes its a vignette, Im not a big fan of that shot either, but learning this cammera is fun as hell, im very glad I got it, just need to start taking good shots of interesting things :D

Cheers for the C&C.

more on the artistic side of the photography fence. there's more on the way, alot of fall kinda shots.

wow, i absolutely love the ones of the swing. the overall look of them is just amazing. great colour, lighting, DOF and composition...👍

after my spam of last times, just one today:

Damn Vlad, that's beautiful. I love the composition with the empty space and the subject matter but my favourite part are the values of blue in the sky. It's so soft and mixes so well with the clouds, usually you don't see that. Most shots with empty sky space get so oversaturated, people attempt all these insanely deep blues.

Very nice, vlad. I agree with everything ah said. 👍

I swear I'm thinking about going outside with my camera. :dopey:

thank you guys. :)

i was actually looking for insanely deep blues because i originally wanted to reproduce a picture i once took with my old fuji. on my way there the sky was of a perfect blue with no haze, smog or clouds whatsoever. however, by the time i arrived, the clouds closed in and i couldn't get the picture i originally wanted. a little frustrated i then went around the building and took this one mostly by accident. to my surprise it turned out even better than what i had originally planned.
its hardly edited as well.

so as usual, my luck was greater than my skill. ;)

My luck ran out a long time ago, it seems I have to work pretty damn hard just to get something worthwhile.

On another note, I just browsed through the thread and realized I've been posting in this thread since page 8 (or so) and here we are on page 80. It's funny to see ITR just getting his new camera, and to see the progress alot of us have made (as said in a few posts back).

Thanks. Maybe if you would stop playing WoW you might get a chance to go into that thing we humans call sunlight.

Giles, powerful shot.
