The filter does really well on things like snow shots. With curves and levels with a snow shot its really hard to get the people in the shot to look good and not get the background to blow out. With this filter it makes it great. I was just blown away by the picture when i did it so i had to share that:)

Taken with my old camera a while ago:

So tonight while at my in-laws for a birthday celebration for my wife, my father in law says to me, "I found another lens that you might want to try out", and proceeds to haul out this puppy:

Lol, you should store that thing in your front pocket.

Hmmm... the front pocket storage idea is a good one;)

taken with the spotmatic as well on a roll of B+W, then added some tinting in PS.

cod, what are you doing for developing? are you doing it yourself or taking it somewhere?

very nice skyline.

I'd like to learn how to develop myself and my wife and I have talked about building a dark room in the basement, but for right now I take my film to walmart...

Most of the stuff I've had developed at walmart has come out pretty good. This is the original shot directly from the CD (I did resize).

wow, i thought you wrote original on the left, and was thinking, you did a horrible job! but then i re looked, and wow, it looks like different skin on that one.

SkylineGTR_guy those are great modeling pics!! I so wish I had some gear to do studio shots. :(

Hope it's ok. I just did a little skin smoothing on one of the pics.

I think next on my list of stuff is to build a better car rig, then two portable strobes I can use on my shoots, being able to control light helps tons

Nah I dont mind at all feel free to edit away, I just have been to lazy to touch photoshop lately. I just use lightroom now and thats about it. I'm not sure what tools you use but I usually use the patch tool, clone stamp, and some blur, you can see the result below, just watch the nose and around the eye on yours it seems a bit darker than the rest unless its just me being tired. Anyway quick patch tool and blur job below
