Same here, #2 looks the best. It has an evil look to it, reminds me of Killzone. :)

I like both those shots DiabolicalMask, great style. 👍

#3, I always thought selective colouring was cheesy. Sorry haha.

DM that second shot would be great if it wasn't so heavily photoshopped.

new shoot, here is a sneak peak:

I agree, that is a beautiful model GTR.👍 What are the photos for?

Can't of been too comfortable sitting on that tree though.

Very beautiful model GTR. 👍 Do you know her personally or is it professionally related?

Have you ever looked through old photos and thought "This is nice. Why didn't I like this photo before...?".
Anyway, I found a few. I since I had nothing better to do...:

And a couple panoramas (first time I used the photomerge tool in PS. I had no idea it worked so well!).

Tangled Web: The photos are for both of our portfolios, and sitting on that tree was not the least comfortable thing she did, you'll see when I'm done :D

Blackbird: I know her personally, actually all the models I've shot so far have been friends of mine from church, and also romanian as well

DM: I like that panning shot and good job on those panoramas!

Queen Bee:  I'll let her know you said that

I took quite a few pictures on my Tail of the Dragon trip, and some of them ended up being pretty neat. I was using a friend's Nikon Coolpix L4

EDIT: Actually I'm editing some other pics now. Their weird, but neat, I think. I took them all in Denny's.

Tail of the Dragon, huh? One of the three roads I MUST drive before I die. The other two: Pikes Peak and Nurburgring.

DiabolicalMask, those are all awesome photos. The one of the cars really stands out to me for some reason, and the panoramas are spot on. You can tell that you haven't taken a panorama shot just for the hell of it, you've actually chosen the spots well and it has paid off!

skyline, the girl you're shooting there is absolutely adorable. I wish there were people that beautiful around here. :(

I find that the problem isn't so much finding beautiful people as it is finding ones who will pose for the camera. Well I guess living in california its a bit easier since people here seem to be less camera shy. Start with some friends who are willing to pose for you and get started there. Even not so good looking people have a "good" side, find it and exploit it. Look everywhere, your work, church, school etc.

wow dm those shots are amazing. the dog shot blew me away, and i really like the first one. still, that dog shot; wowza.

skyline post more now.

*gasp* From church! Naughty you! ;)

Anyways, I got back from Maui a week ago and I forgot my S5100. :ouch: So I compromised with my parents' Canon point and shoot thingy. :P It took ok pictures but I still had to touch them up in PS... Here they are hope you like them.

The whole shoot is brilliant there's really nothing I can complain about. (honest!) If I had to pick a favorite it would be #25. All the pictures are just gorgeous and very abstract.(I like that) Oh and the model is pretty cute too. ;) :P

The 2nd shot of Corina is awesome, skyline! You've taken what could have been a very standard shot and turned it into something creative and exciting. I also really like the photos with the old chair in, they have a certain something to them which I can't quite place.

The 3rd shot from last is also very beautiful, the shadows and lights are very nicely balanced. 👍

Thanks guys, BB: I like 25 too, it just has this cool feeling to it, which i didn't expect to turn out that well since I normally dont shoot models facing away

Moglet: yeah shes a dancer and a gymnast and since shes so flexible we decided to do something a little different. The chair was a fluke we were driving by and saw it on the side of the road and decided to work with it.

Went out for a meal to celebrate my dad and his friend's 60th birthdays and took my camera with me. I got some interesting shots but most of them were just snapshots. Apologies for the quality of some of these, I was shooting at ISO 1600 most of the time!

Very good stuff Skyline, moglet and CH

skyline: I like those silk ribbon going on there that adding extreme contrast to it
those dresses work really well with the background too
very interesting elements throughout the set 👍
btw what's up with the glow around the model? HDR?

Nah never tried HDR on a person but I suppose I could, just liked the look, made it a little less ordinary
