It's not just Twitter for virtual tonnes of junk information but the internet in general. Metal Gear Solid 2's mind screw finale predicted it back in 2002.

The internet is a shining example of too much of a good thing.
Speaking of MGS, a Bill Gates conspiracy I see sometimes is that his vaccines will inject nanomachines into people.

They are getting played like a damn fiddle!

Did you...did you fall and hit your head? This isn't an answer to the question that I asked.

Context matters.

You asked what makes BLM so special that it should garner your attention and why you should care about a victim of police brutality in America.

I indicated that it's apparent you do care (though the meaning of the word here isn't the one typically utilized) and that it does have your attention, and pointed to your attempts at deflection such as citing justified shooting statistics and alleging hypocrisy because people are protesting one thing and purportedly not protesting a completely random other thing.

You then, in response to part of my post, asked how it's deflection, seemingly disregarding the other parts of the very same post wherein I elaborate on the deflection, and then said it's saying you can't understand why this has grown so much bigger than other causes.

As the two sentences are seemingly unrelated, I then asked for clarification on the above "it".

Among the hazards of cherrypicking responses is the potential to completely lose the script, though this may well be deliberate.

I don't know what any of these things are, though the question itself strikes me as an attempt to deflect from the topic at hand. Pattern of behavior.
If you remember, my initial post was quoting you as saying that people were deflecting. I'm saying that that was not the case for everyone.

In my case I made a lengthy post about fatal police shootings in response to someone claiming "white cops were murdering black people", and also the hypocrisy surrounding people and corporations in their actions in the name of BLM.

If you can point out how that is "deflecting" I'd be grateful.

Dress for the job you want:

Get's upset at a private company running their company the way they want to run it.

How about, if you don't like the way a company is doing things then don't use that company's service or buy its products? There are plenty of wealthy Republicans out there that could easily fund and develop their own platform, with its own rules, and with the ability to manage its own content.

And yes, Facebook is terrible, that's why I don't use it.

I never said everyone is. It only applies to those that are deflecting. But we don't need to look that far back. You asked why you should care. I said that it's apparent that you do. The "care" here isn't used in the typical manner, rather it refers to being sufficiently compelled to engage in discussion...albeit in bad faith.

Fatal shooting does not itself suggest murder. As unfortunate as it may be, fatal shootings are often justified as they were a means to quickly subdue an individual who represented a legitimate immediate threat to the lives of law enforcement officers and/or members of the public.

Police shooting statistics are unlikely to include instances in which the shooting was unjustified, and rather an example of excessive force, because law enforcement agencies go to such lengths to conceal the details of such incidents.

Also, neither George fFloyd nor Tony Timpa were shot. The circumstances of their deaths were exacerbated by the misconduct of law enforcement officers whose custody they were in.

and also the hypocrisy surrounding people and corporations in their actions in the name of BLM.
Yes, I do recall asking you to elaborate on the supposed actions of..."boohoo," was it?...and asking you to substantiate your assertion that those involved in protest against police brutality are complicit in these actions by supposedly "placing an order."

If you can point out how that is "deflecting" I'd be grateful.
"Don't look at that! Look at this instead! Don't talk about that! Talk about this instead!"

Funny that you use a definition from Google but disregard the one for "political correctness"
Another deflection. You should perhaps consider changing your name to Rick O'Shea. What does this have to do with the point he made?

I do not remember the finale very well, except the La-Li-Lu-Le-Lo.

That's weird considering it's the preferred platform for anti-socialists to share their thoughts. Hell, it's even been under fire for providing preferential treatment to those folks.
Facebook relaxed its rules so that pages of conservative publications and pundits, including Breitbart and Diamond and Silk, were not penalized for violations of the company’s misinformation policies, according to leaked materials reviewed by NBC News, a day after Buzzfeed reported on other evidence that conservative posters are receiving preferential treatment on the social media platform, leading to heated internal debate at the company.
