It's pretty big outside the sim world as well:

Wet Onboard

I have a question: In your YT comments you said "I think the physics of the Assetto Corsa are much better than PCARS". Can you elaborate on that? What is it that makes you to come to this conclusion? I don't want to argue or convince you of anything, just want to know where you feel PCars is lacking and why.

Can't wait for the PCARS vs AC discussions when PCARS is released :D
It will make the GT vs FM ones look like a schoolboy fight.

Harr, already preparing my popcorn :D:D:D:cheers:
Good thing will be that many of us will own both of them (myself included). Before the discussion GT vs FM was a bit polarized because of the console battle and and not many owned both a PS3 and 360, so their opinions were biased as they didn't have the opportunity to really play 'the other game'. Now that won't be the case so much due to both being available on PC 👍

Same here, i own and at least try out most of the sims out there. And there is not a single one of them were i don't have any quirks with.

Dookie has increased boost pressure to 2.8 bar from the default 2.7. Considering the Restrictors that are in place for the DTM spec, i guess it would have been 350-370 hp in his config. I can look into telemetry later tonight if that helps.

How much horsepower does the sierra have?

Depends on how brave you are with the boost! They were absolute weapons in a straight line, but massive turbo lag and bicycle tyres made them somewhat difficult to drive. They were still devastatingly effective though and made for a very dynamic matchup against the M3.

By the end of Group A they were racing with over 550hp.

AFAIK it's around 430hp ingame with 2.7 bar (or 2.8, not sure).

So, are the cars in our "Group A" class running to Group A or DTM spec? I asked about this in the car list thread but no one seemed to know.

I guess it doesn't really matter as long as they're all built to the same rules. Was there much difference between the two in regards to technical regs?

I am so going to drive the crap out of the Gr.A cars. Given that there are no custom colors/liveries, I'm glad to see from that video that the M3 has a nice blue livery I can use.

Update on the praiano idea:

Please PM me in case you want to participate in the collective effort, i've already got some promising responses!

True, and I still like every one of them - pCARS, AC, GSCE, R3E, rFactor 2, each brings something different to the table, each has it's strengths and weaknesses. I would get bored with just one racing sim to choose from.

Looks like synchronisation failure. That yellow car that is infront of him in first and second corner isnt showing up in the replay on the upper left as well :mischievous:

Hi

Ford Capri Zakspeen video on the Nordschleife circuit with several cameras on pedals and gearbox to make it look how much fun it is to drive this car in manual;)

greeting

Everytime I see him drive I'm not afraid of using my new t300 "the hard way" anymore. :D

This game does look like a blast, very approachable. It's too bad my Logitech wheel won't work with the PS4, otherwise I probably would have finally picked one up this past weekend. Target had a 10% off offer on Cartwheel! Haha.
