Wow! Even the hand movements are spot on,freaking amazing,I'm so pumped for this. GT6 that's the nail in the coffin.
Cheese and crackers I don't think I've ever seen the virtual and real wheel so in sync before:bowdown::bowdown:. There's almost zero lag there. :eek::eek:

Actually, I think the video does introduce some lag, at least I see a little bit. When you are playing it and if you have a high refresh rate monitor, there is even less lag.

Of course you expect a tiny amount of lag no matter what. I can't recall ever seeing it so closely synced.
 
another overtaking challenge

Nice video, 40 cars is way too much for a track like Zolder and the first lap doesn't look totally ridiculous bar some drunk driving here and there.

Bit bothered about the Forza style hand animation when shifting though; your hand does not let go off the steering wheel when paddle shifting dammit!
 
Is it ok for wet tires to last that long on the dry? I mean..he finished 20th, it is not like he had a perfect race and I don;t think the AI was even close to 100%. He finished 55 seconds behind P1 and the rear tires seemed to be giving up at the end of the race....

I'm more bothered by the cars in the pit lane driving right through you when leaving the pits, how hard can it be to have them pull out of their pit boxes and back into the lane instead of just driving straight ahead through all the pit boxes?

Yes indeed, but seeing they are working on pit stop animations right now, i bet they will sort that out come release at least.
 
and he's still moaning about the AI. there's one occasion where he complains the AI drives into him from behind but if he'd been paying attention to his right wing mirror he would've seen the car coming up along side for a passing attempt.

will watch his future vids with the sound off I think :P

He's had some legit arguments in his videos regarding AI but he kind of ruins it by complaining too much about when it seems much of the time it's more his fault then the AI. But that doesn't take away from the fact that the AI does seem to have some issues.
 
How good was the AI overtake from the 1:10 mark?!?

Edit: I also want to say that this guy has far better racecraft than Chillisteak. Notice how he is aware of the positioning of the AI drivers and reacts accordingly? With that, he can pass and be passed without issues and it looks fantastic!
 
Just again jumped into pCARS using the Dualshock4.... hell that was brilliant to drive :bowdown: No assists, everything on default, AI at 80%



At the 1:00 part you can see how when he drives off the track into the grass his tire gets dirty, and the grass will wear off the tire as he drives back onto the track. Great feature (F1 games has it). I've always wondere'd when SMS would finally put that in.
 
I'm a little bit worried about IA in next video, It seems not too fast in some car/track combinations. I warn you, is not very kind speaking, but almost for me is a surprising race result. AI at 100%, no assists and I'don't know what wheel uses.

*If You speak Spanish cover your ears, a lot of complains too.



Better in the next video but in 7 laps 12 to 3 with one mistake.



I hope this videos are the exception, (maybe because the 100% instead 80 or 90?) but usually the game looks a lot better than this!

But DRS (animation?) seems still not working for AI. It's open through corners. I guess the "within 1 second"-rule is not in the game though?
And start/finish line on the wrong place. I guess this won't be fixed?

- DRS animation not working correctly I think, because they werent using it (they didnt gain speed on the straight as I wasnt using it either)
- s/f is still known, FLX forwarded it again, have to wait for a dev acknowledge now :)
- damage was visual only, yes
This is awesome racing, well done! The AI is racing pretty clear in this video. What build is this?
