I stated this before but sense of speed is relative to seating position and camera angle. Which is adjustable in PCARS

Is it me or is it hard to listen to him and read the text at the same time?

That lighting is amazing! Watch in HD

That really looks great! One of the best gameplay vids I´ve ever seen. I wonder what graphic settings these are? Does YT support 60FPS now? Or why does it look so good and fast? Maybe the video is a bit fast forwarded?

Project CARS gameplay with graphics settings on ultra. The video is a race of two laps at Hockenheim circuit with the new Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3.

What AI Level is that? At least the other AI cars need some work or how/why is it so easy to get 2nd?

I don´t know if it is the helmet cam or something else but this game reminds me still way too much to Shift2 when I see races with other cars. Only hotlapping looks good so far.

It has sliders to change the ability of the A.I. not just the main difficulty slider, but for aggression, overtaking, intelligence and many other things.

You can disable the helmet, adjust the shake of the camera, adjust the effect of gravity and other stuff too. You could even have virtually lifeless like other console racers.

Forza 5 has a better sense of speed IMHO, but PCARS still takes it
The pCARS camera in that video is locked to the car, whereas the F5 one is looser which makes it looks more busy and dramatic (the cam can be loosened up in pCARS too of course).

^Fair enough

But the question is, will I be able to adjust my FOV on PCARS?
Yes, FOV and seating position are adjustable :)

Few reasons which comes to mind when i see another "comparativa videos"...

1. Forza 5 cockpit view is useless, theres no single option to change angle or seat position, bonnet view is a must.
2. Locked to 90 degree wheel is joke.
3. Static shadows (painted) can't accept car lighting effects...so even if some cars have lights in Forza, they don't light at all.
4. LeMans as any other tracks badly NEED changing weather and day/night cycle. 24H race in paused daylight?
5. All tracks in Forza title are flattened, physics can't handle up/side movements (just check Ring or Bathurst).
6. Breaking in Forza is the most arcade part of engine, usually x2 times later than in pCARS or Assetto. Other physics elements works much more better.
7. Childish gluing run off area is unacceptable and teach bad racing line (it's really sucking that bad).

Is that the same car??

What about:
rearview monitor?
Door hinche?
whipermount?
Gearindicator?
Shift lights?

Never saw the inside of the real R18 but one of them shpould be right.

Personally I prefer the pCars graphics and fixed camera

The one in forza is the e-tron.👍

I have a little something, but you have to know that it is in work in progress.
Crash physics and damages have never been really good on Project CARS, but they are still working on it. ;)

That's neat that the team area is actually hittable instead of an invisible barrier.

Yeah, it is cool, but we won't be able to drive in the pit in the final game (the car will be driven by A.I.), mainly because the pits are animated.

I dislike this comment. Like, I understand, but coming in to the pits, hitting the speed limiter, stopping in the box and taking off again, hitting the speed limiter on your way past the control line is a fantastic feeling in rFactor
