Hi! That video is mine and it refers to the BUILD 794 .... BUT i want to clarify (as I wrote on the P.CARS official forum) that problem (floating/pendulum effect) is only a VISUAL problem (external camera) and NOT a problem of physics game. improving this view, this effect is no longer present, also because all other visuals are not affected by this problem. Bye!

Thanks. But still have my doubts. I guess I will wait a few days and wait for reviews from sim fans before I buy the game. I paid 30 bucks for Shift 2 and played it not more than 10 minutes. Won´t do that mistake again.

edit: Also the tyre sounds are strange, aren´t they?
 
Must admit my main racing games have been GT with only using console but I used dials only view and cockpits weren't available but I never used the chase view, too arcady feel like a NFS game.

Is it the 720p? Or why does every video look different, even though it is on ultra settings? Do not take it personal digiprost but on your video the graphics look not sooo impressive.

But for example in this video they look mindblowing

Hi, the graphics are not on ultra because with three monitors it is impossible that the fps drop is very large, the video is in 720p because I recorded with gopro and now I can not put more,)

Ok because the video description says ultra so I thought it is ultra.
 


The sound is pure bliss

I really like how they use a custom rev/speed thing for each car in the corner on chase cam and not some generic one. Watching this video makes me imagine how challenging it was for the formula drivers in the past going around this track, lots of respect for them.
 
Needs moar smoke :( Looks the same as GTA 5 in terms of smoke levels

If you watch the video after a little while it starts to rain, and rain drops appear on the screen, even on the parts of the screen that is supposed to be our view of the inside of helmet. In an open wheeler, the helmet should actually be treated like a windscreen where the water hits the visor and streaks back. At the moment it looks like it just has this generic rain drop effect on the entire screen.

Been playing GT and forza on consoles for over 10 years now. Exclusively run chase cam when playing online because I produce the fastest lap times with a controller in that view. Was ranked #1 in the world in the U class on Forza 2 for a short period of time, so a good chase cam is definitely a viable and legit option in sim racers.

But it isn't sim driving looking at the back of the or using a controller.
 


No dynamic environments? There aren't tire tracks in the "kitty litter". MotorStorm on PS3 had tire tracks and even ruts that affected vehicle handling. Why can't this be done in this gen? Or have SMS overlooked that?
