hi
Comparison 60fps the Project CARS Vs GT6 in Bathurst circuit with the Audi R8 Ultra, you can see the difference in graphics, sound and physics of these two games

greeting

Just wondering, will Project Cars have real sponsors on the advertising boards and walls or will they be generic? I wasn't sure since the game is still in development.

Yes, for those tracks that are licensed, there will be real sponsors. For example Road America now has a Chevy logo on the main straight... Which already had some people hyperventilating because they assumed Chevy was licensed. :D

There are actually lots of real advert updates in the last weeks.

This is a video showing the SuperKart that got added, showing that on Brands Hatch, only DTM and LMP cars can beat it.

VIDEO CREDITS: FAILRACE

I seriously recommend this channel if you enjoy playing racing games, they cover Forza, The Crew, Project Cars, Turbo Dismount, Gran Turismo, Need For Speed, GTA, pretty much anything that has a car in it.

It is a good channel. I saw that video a few weeks ago, I wish there was more like it, entertaining and informative at the same time. On a track like Brands where the top speeds aren't too high, Superkarts are tough to beat in any conventional street based track car due to their massive cornering speeds and blistering low end acceleration. They do run out of steam above 120 mph or so but they get there so quickly it doesn't matter on these shorter, tighter courses. Can't wait to drive it!

I've been subbed to FailRace for about a year, found them with one of their cheap car challenges on Forza 4. I like them because they play a lot of my favourite racing games and they are quite informative and seem a lot like Top Gear, who they seem to try and portray. I hadn't seen their videos for a few weeks and went on last night to check what they had posted. Saw the Project CARS vid, thought it was a VS the Community thing, found out it wasn't, I enjoyed it. I'm surprised about the kart, being able to hold its line quite well and is quite grippy going by the video (I haven't played Project CARS myself but I am VERY interested by it. When it releases I am definitely buying it. FailRace are actually the reason I bought Forza 4, I was happy on Forza 2 when I found them lol.

Pit crew at about 2.20: "Rain is expected in the next 30 minutes!". No **** sherlock, look out of the window!!!!

Great video, the pit announcement did make me smile though :D:D:D:D

It's so funny that most of the videos that get posted these days are Rain Races, Why is everyone so fascinated with Racing in the Rain? Serious question, not being an idiot.

^ Cause it looks cool? :D

On a more serious note, proper dynamic and good looking (as in well functioning) weather is kind of new, especially coupled with dynamic time of day. In racing it's always dramatic when adverse conditions like that arise, and experiencing that in good fidelity in a sim is a nice prospect. Of course, most races will be in the dry, but when the rain sets in, and it should now and then, it better be good. Oh, and it looks well cool :)
