I've seen that effect with a lot of 60fps videos off of YouTube. I've always put it down to either their encoding method or the unfamiliarity of the input parameters when editing. I for one made some awful ghost-laden highlights of a GT5 race series because i didn't align the Sony Vegas Pro settings with the input format.

Probably be cleaned up. For a game that's getting as much attention for its visuals as it is actually being a game. Can't see it being overlooked.

AK1504's youtube channel is not an official SMS channel and I'm guessing he's not a SMS employee, either. Isn't he allowed to call his uploaded videos whatever he wants? How is SMS in trouble, whenever some unrelated entity posts something controversial? Or are early-access members under some sort of contract with SMS?

On a different note: how is it that SMS haven't got the naming rights to the Nürburgring, but are allowed to use its layout, while they had to alter Suzuka? Is it because the Nordschleife is technically a public road?

Edit: not trolling or trying to pick a fight, just genuinely interrested in how this licensing process works.

Its getting even worse...this guy actually has no access to the WMD portal, at least not under his pseudonyme. And he is avoiding showing the GUI and the HUD. Draw your conclusions yourself but to me this stinks...like...pirates. 👎

Licensing is a delicate business, and you can't claim to have a license until it is officially announced. Preparations for the branding of the tracks in question had to start earlier than the announcement.

And yes, WMD members actually have agreed to a NDA when signing up for the program.

I really have no clue what all this is all about as I'm just a Joe Blow from the street that comes here every day to check up on the news of the game. If it's just a naming issue but the track is still in the game then I'm cool with that, but it would be nice for the advertising of the game to be able to say that it's in the game instead of having to rename it to something else that people aren't familiar with.

Well, the only reason some are quite sensitive for the "members" not following the direct orders/instructions from the devs is in a worst case scenario a license holder might cancel a deal because of the community not following their wishes (of not showing footage without an official license for example - and this was totally made up by me, just for an example). Yeah would be quite sad to see a track go because of a troll.
