That is true and I'm not against Xbox or anything, just saying it seems to fall a little behind the ps4 graphically.
That does seem to be the case. Tbh the only reason I have an xb1 is for forza lol (I'm getting pcars on ps4)

I much prefer the Xbox One to my PS4, Yet i have my Xbox One up on Ebay right now finishing tomorrow purely because i thought PCars would be much better on PS4 and had to sell one to fund the cockpit and wheel i bought!

To say im gutted right now is an understatement!!!! :( 1080p on Xbone why could the devs not of kept us up to date with this stuff!!!!
You can always take it off eBay and say "product no longer available", no?

On lap at Nords in the dark :) Luv that track...and the car :D

Hm....the lighting seems off. Doesn't look like the car's headlights are actually illuminating what's in front of them, but rather the whole part of the track you're currently on lights up. Problem is, the transition from darkness to light is too quick, which makes trees, signs, etc. almost look like popups.

yes I've noticed that before but it must take a lot of power to create a fully realistic lighting model, so I'm happy they've even got to this stage. it's good enough for the most part and will make tracks with minimal floodlights pretty crazy.

They might be aiming for 1080p, but I'd be surprised if they get it considering Hardline only manages 720p.

I've got EA access and played hardline...the graphics are really for next gen standards...it looks like GTA 5 at 60fps. there is no excuse for Hardline to be anything less 1080...poor development really...

Hi
Video of my new Steering Wheel Thrustmaster Tn Leather 28 GT with Radical Rs3 in Bathurst circuit.

greeting

Hi Digiprost,
I know this is not the specifically a wheel thread, but I have read through all of those threads and couldn’t find the answer to this question:
Which wheel would you say gives the best experience with Project CARS:
The Thrustmaster T300RS with standard PS Wheel, The Thrustmaster T300RS with TM Leather 28 GT Wheel or the Fanatec ClubSport Base with BMW M3 GT2 Rim??
I am asking because I see that you have used all of the above and I would like to get the combination that gives the best experience.
I understand that the CSW is more expensive, but I would still like to know if I should consider it or not.

One thing that bothers me about a LOT of videos I've seen (even with AI set high) is that the AI almost always starts the race slow and the human controlled driver gains like 5-7 spots even before the first corner. Is that something that's being tweaked currently as well?

Yup, its known and a fix is in the pipes. Its very noticeable with turbo cars, hence the quote from Dev ;)

AI do tend to struggle with the turbo cars a bit. They don't seem to know to run the engine hard up to green lights to get the turbo spinning at a good rpm.

On topic: thats the reason I like pC Nords more than AC. What boots it if you have most accurate track but no accurate weather :banghead:

well it's running nicely on PS4 there, my main concern is the close proximity detail pop-up on the AI cars (such as the metal bars on the back of the Atoms and the rear lights on the Astons suddenly looking more detailed at just a few car lengths ahead). really hope the next weeks are spent fine tuning this sort of thing as well as general debugging.

other than that I don't think console owners need worry much as it looks great so far.

Looks good but one thing that majorly concerns me is the throttle blipping. If that's indicative of an inherent inability for real throttle control with the PS4 controller then that would single - handedly obliterate any sense of immersion the game has for me. :nervous:

Well, it seems to me the player doesn't execute any throttle control at all. I can gradually apply throttle with a xbox controller, no problem.

Gradual throttle control is of course possible with the PS4 controller, it just comes down to how well it's executed within PCARS - hopefully the sensitivity of analog control is adjustable. That video and the players comments about difficulty of controlling wheelspin using the controller didn't fill me with confidence however.

I think it's indicative of a lack of skill. He's got the driving line on...at Silverstone..and he's British:lol:

Yes, it has the same problems as Shift 2.

is the old Bridge layout in the game or just the new design? i have fond memories of the Silverstone of a few years back before they put that new section in with the straight
