Hm....the lighting seems off. Doesn't look like the car's headlights are actually illuminating what's in front of them, but rather the whole part of the track you're currently on lights up. Problem is, the transition from darkness to light is too quick, which makes trees, signs, etc. almost look like popups.

Headlights do illuminate the track in front of you. If it's only half way dark as in the video you commented on, the borders of light cones are less apparent (like IRL). Have a look below - you can see a pitch black night and clearly defined light cones.

Edit: The light cone transition band comment has been passed on to WMD. Not a biggie for me, but you guys are being heard by proxy over there

I like that, when their position is right, the car at the front can cast a shadow because of the other car's lights.

To be perfectly honest, I never thought I would say this but, I would rather they delay the game and give me the best experience right out of the box the first time.
People say they want it the way it is, but I have found in life that people always say things like that and then once they have it, they complain like hell.
SMS Should take their time and give us a GREAT Experience, and then when that is done they can start to look at other updates and DLC, but get it right and a lot more people will be happy no matter what they say. Nobody wants a half baked product…Trust Me.

To be perfectly honest, I never thought I would say this but, I would rather they delay the game and give me the best experience right out of the box the first time.
People say they want it the way it is, but I have found in life that people always say things like that and then once they have it, they complain like hell.

I'm not exactly sure who "we" are but there's no denying an answer to a fair question: leaks are frowned upon as it can result in legal action against the developers and even the websites hosting said leak(s), among other things.

And I can list the number of articles that were removed (or never posted) from our News page for that exact reason, or at the explicit request of Sony/PD, but I'd be here all month looking for them all.

pCARS has a lot more to lose from things being leaked, licenses are extremely fragile, an unknown IP, and a readiness by some people to attack the game without knowing the full story.

Simple, if the video has lots of Japanese characters, or contains something we haven't discussed, just double check with one of the WMD guys here; myself, FLX, Dr Justice or Logiforce are all members, and we'll be only too happy to help. If something looks iffy, just check with us.

It s less likely to be picked up in a search, that way. However I'm not entirely sure how he manged to get those cars.

As Wilfred said, it's less likely to be picked up. There are a few bugs that were exploited to get them to be able to race, the builds are there to test them, but only in certain builds, are do not make part of the release schedule.

Also, I apologise for any Koreans I offended, I only caught the characters very briefly.

haha i didn't mean that, more like there was a few known people over there who kept leaking things, not specifically because they are Asian

Yeah, when common sense fails, rules should be applied.

It's one thing to post a leak by accident and another to do it on purpose knowing it is leaked footage (that SMS don't want to be shown right now) just to get "fame" or something.

I just tried Driveclub for the first time with my T300. I'm really shocked how unexciting and lame that gameplay is, apart from the hilariously laughable FFB, the mushy sounds and the low res textures all around the cars.

I only race single events now, you need to spend a while finding the handful of good tracks, I've got about one per country, and strangely mostly the reverse layouts, which I find far better than the normal ones.
the latest update where you can select the AI cars to be the same as your own is a nice touch, I think the real issue is finding a car you actually like to drive. try the Caterham SP/300 as it actually has decent grip and brakes.

And your example is a game whose license proprietor (FIA/FOM) thrives on publicity, not to mention this is already an established franchise with the only real "leak" being stills. This was gameplay of vehicles we're not supposed to have access to, I know I don't have access to them.

About the option to swap driver in PCars....

How cool it would be if we could swap drivers on a online game?

I'm playing a endurance racing and i can go the the pits and let a friend drive my car and while he is driving in his own home/pc/console, i could watch him or just relax for sometime... it will be reaaaally cool!!
