Language in that vid.

Yeah also that guy doesnt know what he is talking about! He said its a copy of GT3 :dunce:

Firstly its more a copy of GT4 and the graphics look way better than GT3. Why do people find it so hard to talk about GT with at least some proper knowledge.

As for using it on the PSP GO I really think everyone is right when saying that its damn uncomfortable. Sony really messed up the ergonomics with that one! The controls should have slid out horizontally not vertically.

Robin.

Wait, was that a review video with someone that can drive? Must be a fake. :sly:

i thought NA market was moving to pure digital distrabution? id like to get a go but if i can get umd verisons for my slim then theres no reason to get a go.

Initially (including GT mobile) games will be available both as umd and as a download. They will eventually phase out umd's though for downloaded games from what I have read. Either way there is nothing forcing you to get a go. You could play the downloaded version off the PSN on your PSP slim anyway.

i know theres nothing forcing me to upgrade to a go, but, my thought process is that if i must download games, i would rather have a hd than memory cards/sticks. but, then, this leads to another problem. i have no where to download the games.

fwiw - my slim only has a 1gb card which, atm, has +- 800mbs of music on it.

also, gt mobile isnt something im interested. Echochrome, Echochrono, FF: Disidia, FFVII, Patapon 2, and Little Big Planet are my psp interests. Plus if its small enough, it'll be my mp3 player.

plus a go would have the "oooo, a new toy!" feeling with it ... heh

The PSP makes a very poor mp3 player. It's very big and clunky and the battery life is quite dismal for an mp3 player.

I'd rather use my phone for an MP3 player -- at least then, I can use my stereo blootoof.. (translation: bluetooth)

I almost bought a PSP 3000 as GT Mobile is coming, because it has physical-media for the game, button placement seems beter, screen is bigger, better design and price is lower. Havent seen so much big improvement for PSP Go on other things really.

But now sony has announced that the PSP Go is 44% faster cpu im in doubt. Because i just a feeling sony is gonna scr ... (punish) al psp 3000 owners (and older).

1. Will all big/titles games also come on UMD in the coming years?
2. Will some new games only work on psp go because its faster (creating 2 categories of psp games, good one sony ... NOT)

m so confused :grumpy:

Yes, at least in the near future

No

The PSP Go is just a redesign, not a new console, dont worry.

It is likely there to allow for the in-game XMB feature that's been so talked about. Your average game needs around 300mhz max, and the XMB needs around 75mhz. If it's going to be running both at the same time then 333mhz won't suffice. :)

and be happy :)

yay! good news it is.

if i understand correctly psp3000 can also play downloaded games. So i think i will buy a psp3000 since's its a lot cheaper. :)

Yes, downloaded games have been available for all PSP models since the PlayStation Store first launched a PSP section years ago.

Psp3000 with 16 GB memstick duo pro over here: larger screen, better button layout (as far as I can judge now). I mean.... :)

Yeah RR and Wipeout pure and Wipeout Pulse are good games.

Both are racers with a lot of fantasy. But both are rather good.

You can get the wipeout games from the psn store. So that means fast loading :)

I have had almost 50% of those games. In the end I only tend to like the wipeout games in that list on psp.

Burnout isn't to bad either. Hey it is burnout. Arcade to the maximum level.

Race Driver loading times are horrid. Like 2 minutes or something.

If they have the available bundles in Europe I suggest checking to see if any of those have any games that interest you.

I'd say a $35-45 price difference is sizable enough, especially considering the 3000 is better in every way but Bluetooth functionality.

You will only get that savings if you are the type of person to hunt down the best deal. Your average shopper that goes into Best Buy or Gamestop and buys everything at once will find the costs are similar.

I will take a wild guess that Sony isn't looking at the small percentage of consumers that are Newegg shoppers and basing their pricing scheme on them.

Of course they aren't. They are looking at the same people who go out and flush money on new iPods every time Steve Jobs announces a new color. That doesn't mean I shouldn't see the Go as the waste of money it is.

Couple that with some rather misleading advertising that I'm sure they will perform and they could attempt (probably won't get, mind you) to get normal shoppers as well.
